If you skip to the :49 second mark you will see a white colored Grunt sprinting with what appears to be a Carbine in its hands he also seems to be wearing a new type of helmet. Could this be a new sniper class Grunt?

I didn’t notice the carbine before I think but I noticed the armour.

I don’t know to be honest, the Grunt just sorta stuck out.

Looks just like the regular storm armour to me, only white. That’s definitely a carbine it’s clutching though!

I was more or so talking about the helmet it definitely looks different.

It’s possible that this may be a new grunt variant, but the most likely option is that this is simply a grunt Ultra (reminds me of the ones from Reach) just holding a carbine for a cutscene. I’m not too sure it’d be a wise decision to let grunts hold carbines. However, there could be an Easter egg involving it. I want to say there was an Easter egg in Halo 2 where grunts had energy swords, but my memory on that subject is hazy.

I don’t see why they would limit the Grunt to only the cut-scene, I mean besides Hunters they are the only infantry class not given a Sniper Class.

I get the feeling that 343 is up to something… Why are they adding more and more functions to the other models?
