I examining new G.I and I switched to looking at enhanced large images from the magazine. Some images are new. One of the images is concept art and depicts Master Chief in a large forerunner room. The room has several figures in the background with shield. I thought they might be jackals but they look larger.It could be elites using Jackal shields.
In one later image it shows master chief standing in a warthog. There is an odd looking figure in the turret.Might be a marine, spartan or other.
Well it’s concept art, so it definitely doesn’t properly represent the in-game content. I’m sure it’s just Jackals and a marine or Spartan-IV, like you said.

Yeah… Those do not look like jackals, or elites.
