If I recall it’s MLG Dallas and it’s November 4th through 6th. So there may be early gameplay of…you guessed it, the retail version of Halo 4. If you aren’t subbed to Bravo, I highly advise subbing to him.

This tournament needs to be huge, to secure a spot on the circuit for Halo 4. This will be the single most important Halo tourney/showing in the history of MLG. Will Halo return to its former glory with H4, or will the scene come crashing down and destroy any hope left for the continued legacy of competitive Halo? The settings need to be perfect, and the tourney needs to be sold out and have high stream numbers.

MLG is going to try to stick to default H4 settings. They will try to change it as little as possible.

That wouldn’t make it traditional Halo though. IMO, they should just stick to the traditional Halo settings with Sprint as an exception.

They want to use Default H4 settings because they want to appeal to a bigger crowd of halo players.

True, I just hope if they have an MLG playlist that they stick to MLG settings.

The first tourney should try to incorporate as many of the default H4 systems as possible. Seeing as how they wont be able to really test the settings much beforehand, its safe to just let the players decide how they want to play in their loadouts and such for the first time. I think the power item system needs to use the traditional one instead of ordnance, but other than that I wouldnt change much this is a pretty much a test as to how it will play in the future. There is sure to be plenty debate, on what MLG H4 settings will look like for the first time.
