Ok people have been coming up with what they believe the HUD for Halo 4 will look like through their own creativity.
I believe I have found out what the HUD looks like.
If you zoom in on the visor seen in this picture you can get a really good look at the visor.
Based off of that, I created this. Now I am going to modify it a little bit since I believe I know what part is the energy shield.
What strikes me is the strange symbol under the “energy shield” area. What is that? Some new ability counter, health, energy shield shaping?
-_-
you made a purposely misleading title for more views and this topic should be locked and you should be permantly BANNED for being so lame

How is it misleading, or did you personally find the title misleading?
Throughout Halo media the visors are usually based off of the outer shapes of the visor. I figured this might be the same.

“MARK VII HUD REVEALED?! NEW FEATURE?”
then you show a picture of your hud you designed. you make it sound like they released a new feature or new hud or something… like OMG OMG NEW HUD REVEALED!!! ZOMG
I based the image off of an officially revealed image to get a better insight on it.
The title is still misleading. I do like the image you’ve created.
I agree, the title is quite misleading… The visor shown in an old, outdated poster image doesn’t really represent how anything is going to be in the game.

Ok here’s some credibility to what I did.
Mark VI helmet
Mark VI HUD
You can clearly see how the HUD is based off the lining on the visor. Based off of this, I created that image.

Oh yes, I know that and you’re right. It’s just that your title was making people think that we’d see something a bit more official. Maybe if you would have said something around the lines of “An idea of how the HUD could look like in Halo 4”, it would be less confusing.
And like I said, that poster image is outdated. If you take a look at the toy (which was created using the in-game model), you’ll see that the visor’s lining is very different.
But still, I have to give you credit for coming up with something plausible using the resources you had.
Misleading title is misleading.

Only so much detail can go into a toy. Also it just ends near the top. It doesn’t even have a “top.” Now once a new trailer/image is released showing a in game model of the Mark VII, then I can make a more updated accurate depiction.

Unnecessary post is unnecessary.

Ironic post is ironic.
Knock it, please.

Touché.

That is true, but toys from Halo 3 and Reach have had more details in the visor than the toy there, so it wouldn’t surprise me if they changed the in-game model to what we see on the toy.
However, I do agree that nothing should be taken as official until we see Master Chief in-game, and even then not trust anything completely until the game has gone gold.
I must admit that I do like your version of the HUD (should have said this earlier, but better late than never) and would be quite happy if your speculation turned out to be real.
Ok I changed the title to “Possible Mark VII HUD.”
Also how come nobody is questioning that mysterious shape underneath the energy shield area?
Halsey’s Journal talks about energy shield shaping for the Mark VII. It could be possible this is some sort of energy meter for that.
I think you’re looking too much into things.
