possible marathon easter egg in halo 4

I don’t know if anyone has found his before. in the very middle of the watcher it look very similar to the marathon symblol. if you didnt know bungie made the game marathon. could this be an easter egg dedicated to bungie. please share your thoughts

It’s also been turned into the symbol for reclaimer by Bungie back in Halo 3

Out-of-universe it is a reference, it’s been used since Halo 1. In-universe, it’s the symbol for “Reclaimer”.

Good eye, though, i never even thought to look that hard.

Then why is MC known as the “Reclaimer”? This Watcher has it tattooed on it’s belly!
