Hello, I come to you all with a question that affects my future with Halo. I recently thought of the concept of making forge tutorials, explaining things in the most in-depth way possible. I am afraid, however, of what might happen if I post any halo 4 content. I am not a lawyer, so I couldn’t hope to understand everything in Microsoft’s new terms and conditions. So I really must know come November sixth, when I gleefully unbox my new Limited edition and console, If my dreams of helping the forge community may be non-existant.

Just post your stuff, don’t monetize it though.
I didn’t bootleg the game, i am waiting just like many other people. I was speaking past November 6th, when the game comes out. I can wait for halo 4, It’s just I don’t want to waste my time If my videos will be deleted anyway.
Ah, so If I put something like ‘Content within this video is property of Microsoft and 343i, I don’t own any of the content within the following video.’ It would work out? I never plan on moneytizing my account though, I won’t get that many views or subs from this.
Tutorials should be fine. Things like commentaries and reviews are the same as well.

If your Halo 4 videos aren’t leaked, you’re not making money off of the video, and you stay away from the words “Leak” and “Sneak Peek” you’ll be fine.
If they do go after you, they’ll just remove your video, that’s it.

Okay, now I’m confused again, though I am sure I could make a series without the word ‘Halo’ in the title, but that sounds kinda…meh.

Yeah, it does say that, but instead of using the full word “Halo”, use “H4”, as long as there is “Halo” in the tags, people will find it. But I don’t think they’ll go after you if you do put Halo in the title.
