Hey guys, I was just discussing theories in another thread about the recent hunt the truth episode, 007. When a solid theory popped into my head, spoilers for anyone who hasn’t listened to ep 007 coming up.
when Fero(?) says to Ben that they need to create a storm, a wild panic amongst the population to get ONI and UEG to listen. Did anyone correlate the recent branding of The Master Chief as a traitor and this storm that Ben and fero want to create? What I mean is Ben is documenting Master Chiefs story, down to the Nitty gritty. What if in future episodes Ben decides that the only way to get people to listen, to feel scared and unprotected is to bring up the recent anomalies in deep space with the disappearance of outer colonies and to brand humanities only true saviour, its only true protector a traitor. Surely that ought to get the people to listen, to get ONI to sit up and try to explain themselves. And that would be where Ben gets his chance. His chance to expose ONI and their devious ways and to hopefully get the truth about the Spartan program.
anyway please discuss what I’ve just wrote, like I said this just sort of clicked in my head and I haven’t spent hours theorizing and picking apart the fine details, that’s for everyone to do. But it sounds pretty reasonable. And pls no bully
If anyone lurking feels they could add to this theory, or pick it apart! Then please contribute, this is all a team effort!

Interesting theory… Makes sense and it could happen. I think the deep space anomalies are Precursor activity but I could be wrong. Either way I’m curious to see what plan FERO and Ben will concoct to get the senators to listen and convince people that they’re all going to die.

They don’t need much of one. They just need to demonstrate that everything the senators know about MC is a lie, that his creator (Halsey) is a traitor and fugitive working with Jul M’dama, and that MCs actions in H4 precipitated whatever is happening in deep space (which I agree is likely Precursor). Enter Spartan IVs to save us.

yeah I was at two ends whether or not to make a thread(my first one BTW. Yay) or to post In the previous. I just didn’t want it to get lost or detract from the original threads topic. Do you reckon I should post it there?

I would. If this one takes off, great. If not, it will at least get viewed in the other one, as that one is likely to survive, and you may get more feedback there.

yeah my interest for what they’ll do and our previous conversation drew me to click with this theory. And the anomalies are anyone’s guess at this point, pretty much all we know is that something is happening somewhere to some people people who are somewhere.
