Rumor has it that Master-chief has been in cryo sleep for 5 years following the events of halo 3 (putting the year in 2558). Halo 3 came out September 25, 2007. My prediction is that Halo 4 will be released September 25, 2012 exactly 5 years after the release of Halo 3. Also video games are always released on Tuesdays (unless they are lucky and get to release it on a special date just like skyrim did). This date is indeed on a Tuesday because of the leap year. This is a theory and is not an official release date.

The reason Halo has always been released on that date is because it was owned by Bungie and Bungie for some reason liked that date. Anyway, September isn’t in Winter and it said the game will be released Holiday 2012.

Wow, I’m impressed!! I could have never thought of that!!! But another thought occurred to me, what if they realeased it on the 343th day of the year? (I have no idea what month that is…). I still like your idea better though…

Thanks to a Quick Google search, December 8th, 2012 is a Saturday. It is the 343rd day of the year.

It’s most likely gonna be released in early November or earlier because it wouldn’t be good marketing to release it around or after BO2.
