I bought the old one that came out a few months ago that contained the Athlon Helmet, Body Armour, Emblem, and Pistol Skin for 9.99.
But I heard a free one came out containing some cool stuff during the last world championship and I am a completionist freak for things and am wondering if there is anyway I can get my hands on it? I did not have internet access during the Halo World Championship so I missed out.
Was it obtained by using a code they sent out, or did it just show up free on the REQ pack store screen for free? Would I somehow be able to get this code on Ebay or something like that?
Just to note that I actually do like the old HCS armour style better, but like I mentioned before, I need everything lol.
(Also kudos to the people that bought that original HCS pack like 3 times and got the coveted 343 skins, if only I would’ve known I definately would’ve spent an extra 20$ for them

I wouldn’t mind that. It would allow those Spartans who missed out to complete their collections.

Yeah I would even be willing to shell out some money for it. It’s win-win for them.
I want the original HCS things, I only need achilles helmet, the athlon champion set, and some skins i missed out, i hope they make those available so i can actually complete my collection.

Then what’s the point in having exclusive stuff if everyone would be getting them later? It’s like buying <Insert expensive item here> and later everyone gets that same <Insert expensive item here> for free… You missed out, deal with it.
And before someone starts arguing that it’s only because I have everything, I too am missing the HCS REQs, but that doesn’t bother me at all.

I agree. There is no need to make everything available just because there are those who are asking for it. tI cheapens the possibility of exclusivity. I spent 80,000 RP’s for the first HCS pack. Made it a point to pay attention and watch the finals, and I was then able to get the free one.
What about the packs that were given out to the few people who had their questions answered during the last stream? I don’t know what was included, but what if there was an emblem or piece of armor. Should we also have those available to us? I think absolutely not. And we need to get away from the idea that everyone should have access to everything because we don’t want anyone to feel left out because they can’t “complete”.
