🎆 POSSIBLE FIX FOR EAC ISSUES!

I know some of you guys saw my post about all the issues I had with EAC
Halo MCC would not work anymore.

OK guys I read a article online on how to fix EAC issues. Now you guys are
going to say I am full of crap but it did work for me. Now I did try to
find the article but could not find it.

So here is what the article said to do:

  1. Make sure you are grounded so you don’t damage any computer parts.
  2. Unplug your computer from the wall.
  3. Remove the following:

A. Remove you ram.
B. Remove your video card.
C. Unplug your hard drives
D. Leave your CPU Alone.
E. Remove any other devices that you may have connected to your computer.

After you have remove your devices wait 5 mins. before you re-install your devices.

Like I said You guys may think I am full of crap but it did work for me.

WHY this worked for me? I have no Damn Idea why

After I put all of my devices back together and fired up my box. Booted up Halo MCC
and it worked!!

So this is just what I did and Halo MCC fired up!!

I am not going to say it will work for you, But this is what I did to get MCC to run!!
You do this at your own risk!!

Peace!! :fist_right: :fist_left:

What error did you have? I have #C0000001, and when googling about it I seem one forum post somewhere about ‘Forbidden System Configuration’ so if it is in relation to that error code, that may be why what you’ve done has worked

I got both #C0000001, and the #10011 errors.

I first got that #C0000001 then I got the #10011 error.

I know it sounds Looney Tunes but it did work for me.

I’ll give it a try in a bit and let you know if it also worked for me.

I did recently have a HDD that wasn’t displaying after POST so maybe that wonkyness has caused an issue with EAC somewhere.

Turned everything off, unplugged my GPU, HDD’s, SSD’s and all the USB devices I have.

Loaded up MCC, same error, rest in peace.

Well that sucks!!! Why it worked for me and not you. Can you tell me everything that is in your box?

I tested Lost Ark which uses EAC and that worked without issue - weird that it only affects MCC.

OS: Windows 10 Pro x64
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5900X
GPU: ASUS ROG STRIX GTX 1080 A8G 8GB
Motherboard: ASUS X570 Crosshair VIII Hero
PSU: CORSAIR RMi Series RM850i
RAM: HyperX Fury 32GB DDR4 @ 3200Mhz
Cooling: CORSAIR Hydro Series H100i V2

Probably need to keep messing with the game or wait for EAC support

How many watts is your power supply? I run a 800 watter.

I run a Ryzen 3600X and MB is a Asus Tuff X570 Ram: G.Skill F4-3600C18-8GTZN 16 Gigs.

In the BIOS are you running stock? ( all the default settings ) no overclocking?

Did you test EAC?

https://download.eac-cdn.com/
https://download-alt.easyanticheat.net/

You should see the message: ‘200 - HTTP OK’

Did you run EAC with Admin Rights? Game Name is 426 Not Halo MCC (Steam VErsion )

So, it was a hardware issue in your case wasn’t it.

It may have been but I don’t know for sure. Now in xRDAx_xSEK3N case He stated he a hard drive issue and did what I listed in this post and it still did not work. I can’t think of any else to help him out. 343 has to come up with some help to fix this issue. IMHO EAC sucks. I do like Punkbuster and Fairfight better.

Now EAC is a free public domain program. In Punkbuster and Fairfight case you have to pay for those programs.

Side Note; I have no problems paying more for some good Anti-Cheat programs for Halo MCC and Halo Infinite.

It’s 850 watt.

I have my CPU overclocked, it’s never been an issue though.

I’ve tested both links, they work fine as well, and aye I’ve tried admin, but might be worth testing the game through the exe as see what happens

Just for fun turn off your overclocking and make sure your BIOS is using the default settings only just for fun and see what happens. You can always return to your overclocking settings later. I always start with default settings then go from there.
I gotta feeling that it maybe it’s the way 343i has setup EAC IMHO.

So I moved my game installation to one of my many other drives and after launching (Albeit still freezing steam in the process) the game now works and allows me to view the Exchange and presumably play online, woo.

Makes 0 sense though.

Yea it does not make any damn sense at all!! Well I’m glad you got it to work. If your board look for the UBA server in Custom Games. I’m testing some 3 or 4 H4 maps. It will be up all day!! Glad you got it working again!!! Yea Buddy!

Peace! :fist_right: :fist_left:
