Possible explanation to Campaign split disparity

Ok…so we have spoken about the split between Blue and Osiris and its disparity (quite apparent)

Now tho Here we read this

The Halo 5: Guardianscampaign consists of 15 chapters that all help tell the unfolding and intertwining stories of Blue Team and Fireteam Osiris in their own particular fashions. From storming Covenant forces to battling back Promethean powerhouses, from vehicle-heavy assaults to wide open encounters, each chapter within the campaign will carry you through an ever-escalating adventure. That’s not to say there won’t be some quieter moments though. In fact, a few of the chapters will introduce something quite new when it comes to typical Halo campaigns in the form of non-combat exploration spaces. These particular chapters will give you a chance to catch a breath, but also to explore, to look, and to listen. More than perhaps any other campaign in Halo history, there is story to be found to those willing to look and listen – whether that be to your squadmates themselves, or perhaps to other characters that are scattered throughout the environment. These non-combat chapters give players the chance to advance the story while not necessarily needing to simultaneously advance on the enemy. Plus, one of them in particular introduces one of the most excellent Unggoy in Halo history. Trust me.

Given the nature of Blue’s journey I am beginning to think the disparity is caused by these extra chapters belonging to Osiris (who might have the Downtime for it)

Assuming then that Blue’s action-based missions are more or less twice as long as Osiris’ action-based missions (as some were saying in the official previews) it MIGHT be understandable and acceptable…here is to hoping…

I hope the grunts get Spartan suits at some point (but refitted for grunts). So we can have another split in campaign.

-.-’ really?

While I wish there was more of the blue team
if this is the case I can’t say I’ll be too upset

So where’s everyone getting the disparity from?
Out of 15 missions… it looks like they alternate…

1: Osiris
2: Blue
3: Osiris
8: Osiris

Osiris definitely strikes me as the type to take on the more exploratory chapters. Especially considering that Spartan Locke works for ONI, who can’t leave anything well enough alone. Contrast that with Blue Team, or any of the Spartan IIs, who have always been somewhat dismissive of anything that wasn’t directly combat related.

But we don’t have confirmation on how many missions each group gets right? I also get the vibe that Osiris might get a little more. But I’d honestly be okay with that as long as it’s something like a 40/60 split. Anything less for Blue Team and I’ll be sad.

I really, really hope the final mission is one where both groups team up together so you get to pick which team to use. That would be so freakin awesome.

  1. Osiris, Osiris
  2. Blue Team, Blue Team
  3. Glassed, Osiris
  4. Maridian Station, Osiris
    5.???
    6.???
    7.???
  5. Swords of Sanghelios, Osiris
    9.???
    10.???
  6. Enemy lines, Osiris
  7. Sunion, Osiris
    13.???
    14.???
    15.???

Plenty of room for Blue team missions.

The actual split (and mission names) are as follows:

Osiris (FO), Blue Team (BT), Glassed (FO), Meridian Station (FO, may be one of the non-combat levels), Unconfirmed (FO, yes the level is actually called that), Evacuation (FO), Reunion (BT), Swords of Sanghelios (FO), Alliance (FO, may be another non-combat level), Enemy Lines (FO), Before the Storm (FO, may be another non-combat mission), Battle of Sunaion (FO), Genesis (FO), The Breaking (BT), and Guardians (FO).
That’s 12 Osiris missions and 3 Blue Team missions. However, I’m not discounting the possibility that some levels may have you switch in the middle.

Is this no longer considered leaked material?

Well, I got the list from Halo Vanguards’ stream. At the very least, I put it behind a clearly labelled spoiler tag.

Still totally leaked material
