So I played Halo:Reach A LOT offline. In fact I only had the opportunity to get a gold subscription when I was a General Grade 1. So here is the problem: I have a high rank and a lot of cR. When I went to the matchmaking lobby, I am told I am bringing too much credits to matchmaking and they must be forfeited. I was also told I will only be able to use the default spartan otherwise, and my service record shows I am a Major Grade 3. So what will happen when I forfeit my credits? Will I get a demotion to Major, will my armory purchases be refunded to me or will they get seized by the “UNSC as contraband”?
It’s some silly restriction Bungie implemented in the game years ago. Probably, to stop users from “Cheesing” the system. From your description, it sounds like you have done nothing wrong. It’s just Bungie being overly cautious in 2010.
Ya that has never happened to me. But i always play online. Although I did used to do a lot of stuff offline.
