What if when you get an Armor Coating, you get the coating for every part of the armor and you could mix and match coatings across different armor pieces. Given that Armor Coatings are here to stay, this could be a good middle ground for better customization.
Thoughts?
I feel like armor coatings should function similar to the armor variants of Halo 4 and 5. Where instead of the design being tied to the armor directly, it would allow for deeper armor choices while giving the player different design options.
In all honesty the simple color coatings were a missed opportunity. Armor coatings could’ve been a slate consisting of several choices within one coating style.
