Just an idea, but be prepared for a cliffhanger ending were chiefs life may be undetermined. Its plausible that this may happen especially since 343 likes them some drama. Also, if it ends that way, BEAT IT ON LEGENDARY, the ending may change it much like in halo 3.!!

Just letting you know OP and people with similar thoughts… There will be Halo 6. Halo 5 will finish with perhaps a cliffhanger, but perhaps with a success ending.

I know there will be a halo 6, and if i remember correctly there will be a 7 as well due to the fact that its called the reclaimer saga now. I could be wrong though. I hope if it is a cliff hanger ending, it cannot be one involving chiefs fate (life or death)

The cliffhanger of Halo 2 was not very popular, so I don’t think they’ll go down that road.

Developers already said the campaign will be a self contained story. But there will obviously be something shown at the end to hint towards Halo 6.

Halo 3 also had a cliffhanger but people seem to have forgotten that because Halo 3 is Halo 3.

This. If the ending is so important that it’s going to change the Halo universe forever, there’s definitely a cliffhanger ending to confirm that.

There has to be a cliff hanger ending, its part of a trilogy its not even an option for it to not be.
Moat likely the 14th mission would include a cliffhanger, if there was one, so players would want to play the last one
