It starts off with a discussion of the current flaws of CTF as it has existed in current Halo games, why it needs changing. Then the video goes into the ways it might be changing for Halo 4 (and maybe some ways it should be re-done in Halo Reach).
Let me know what you think! Is this what you would want out of Halo 4 CTF? What would you prefer?
EDIT: The guy had the solution right at the beginning. He talked about Halo 3 having a winning/skill based ranking system. Therefore playing the objective rewarded you with a higher skill level, or experience for winning. With this all types of flag work, and although this guy had some nice points Cough Except 100% speed with flag Cough, I like all types of flag and I’m the guy the dies a lot but plays the objective. In Halo 3 K/D didn’t matter because your rank proved how good you were. If you had a bad K/D it could just mean you always played objective games and always won the objective.
So in the end, like many threads have already stated, there should be a huge emphasis on winning the game. You can either use a system like Halo 3’s EXP or a new one built for Halo 4. But yes this guy’s vid was pretty entertaining.

I know that lol. It was a tactic, I admit, but I genuinely put a lot of effort into this and it’s a lot more positive and productive type of discussion than a lot of the threads being thrown around in here. Ok then, how would prefer I named it?

It wasn’t invented back then, sir. It takes time to think of brilliant ideas, but to take those brilliant ideas away is pure MADNESS.
Why is everyone more interested in the title than the video? By the way, I fully agree with all the ideas and one like to put one more. Reach seemed to cater more for slayer matches in the way of gaining credits which you touched on a tiny bit, I propose that Objective should earn the same amount of Spartan Points as Slayer if not more if you actually went for the Flag/Bomb/Skull/Area.

I like the ideas you presented in your video, Ultimate, actually quite a lot, though of course some minor(or major?) tweaking would be in place. But if they design their maps around this so that they actually are balanced and not too easy nor too hard then I see it working out quite well. Though if I understand you correctly, you’re saying that this should be the only CTF GT in future Halos?
Oh, and by the way; thank you for that guide on Anniversary Library, would have never gotten Speed Reader otherwise =).
I wasn’t expecting gameplay, I was expecting someone at 343i/someone who played Halo 4 (like those four guys that were at that park bench doing that interview) to talk about how the game-mode changed.

Well ok, how would you change the title? I’m quite happy to do that.
Did you end up watching the video anyway? You might like it!
