As 343i continues to expand Waypoint’s usefulness with the introduction of spartan companies and the ability to equip armor from Waypoint(I think?), I believe the possibility of a mobile Waypoint app is quite present. Although the mobile platform is fine, I would just like a smooth application with an easy to navigate and transition interface. What do you all think?
I can see it happening. Destiny already does this.
Considering the fact that they axed the old Waypoint app and eventually replaced it with the Halo Channel app, I don’t think this is very likely.
BUT, if they do make one and it’s released on Android, I desperately hope 343 will use Material Design… but they probably won’t lol. And it’ll probably drain my battery like crazy and use an absurd amount of memory. I’m probably just being a pessimist.

It would be quite nice seeing as I have to search each time I want to look at waypoint
And I always like to have a native interface rather than a browser, but I don’t trust 343 to deliver a smooth and functional app to my platform. Like, I want this to happen, but I doubt that what they’ll deliver will be satisfying.

I just hope they roll out something that will allow us to do things easier on mobile for iOS and Android. Maybe they can integrate something with Smartglass?
