Positivity thread. What do you like about Halo Infinite?

I’ve been checking the front page of the forums for a week to two now (maybe longer) and noticed a lot of aggressively negative feedback and I thought that it would be good for 343’s collective and individual mental health, as well as helping to promote a healthy community if we tried to give some positive feedback.

So I propose making a singular place to post “I liked this thing about Halo Infinite”. No matter what that thing is or how small it is, talk about it here.

Guidelines and etiquette:

  • Forum rules still apply (obviously)
  • What you post must be positive, if you like the idea of something but think that it could be implemented better then that’s fine but the overall message must be that you like the thing
  • You might disagree with someone else’s thing that they like, that’s fine everyone has opinions and preferences but this is not the best place to discuss it. Although, if it’s a thing that someone wants to improve then discussing that is fine
  • Keep it positive

I like that they put “Halo” in the name of the game.

I really enjoyed the Campaign.

Loving the base game-play in multiplayer.

Looking forward to Forge and scripting.

Ranked is really fun, the BR feels really nice but a lot of the pickup weapons have a good use now so it’s not all BR and you are rewarded for scavenging and mastering each weapon.

I liked the campaign and I also like how many new weapons there are. I like the multiplayer and the modes we have right now are fun as well.

I like the core gameplay in single and multiplayer.

I really enjoyed the Campaign.

Gameplay is the only straw you can cling to. Besides that, this is a massive dumpster fire, with little content, horrendous bugs like BTB and a complete lack of professionality in fixing stuff and delivering a plan/raodmap . It feels like they hired a team of experts for the core gameplay and campaign. Then they fired all of them and gave the game to complete amateurs to develop it further. The upmost amateurs you could find.

I like the Grappleshot, the game’s style and having bots.

I’m liking all of it honestly. Gameplay is solid. Weapons feel pretty good for the most part (Ravager needs a rework). The really only downside I have is the server stability.

I like so much about this game, it is a lot of fun to play. Which is why it is particularly frustrating to see so many things fall just a little short and take so long to be addressed.

If they know what’s good for them, they’ll stay away from these forums and Twitter/Reddit. (Which also has the negative side effect of appearing like not listening to us)

Enjoyed the campaign although the story was on the safer side and ended up weak.

Gameplay wise the game is extremely solid, it plays well, weapons are nicely balanced (save a couple of guns) and it has a decent mix of old and newer Halo.

Unlike what seems to be the majority here, I’ve had minimal problems with desync (once or twice maybe) and no crashes. Even managed to play BTB most of the time I tried.

I like the challenge system, it’s forced me to play modes I’d typically ignore and only a handful of challenges have been difficult enough to tempt me to use a swap. I’m still sat on over 30 so the game gives you more than enough as you level.

On a whole I’m having a blast.

PS. There are bits I’d like to see changed but this isn’t the place for them.

No. They should be replying to us. I’m tired of the thin skinned talk around here. They should grow a back bone and show some face

My favorite part is when they fixed all the MP issues and filled in the baron wasteland they claim to be Zeta Halo and call a full fledged campaign. Charging $60 for just a campaign that isn’t even finished or polished is a joke that I cannot believe so many fell for. How about instead of trying to look through some fantasy lens we band together to either force 343 to fix their game or rightfully force them out of Halo development since they’re lazy greedy filth.

Nah, Unysheks last response has shown that community feedback is reflected in a very complimentary way.

The heads of the studio and community manager, yes, but everyone else can stay away from the toxicity. They shouldn’t be responding to us anyways.

Elaborate on that. Wym

Sarcasm for “eagle-eyed players” etc. They should know, how embarassing some situations are, so they do not need to make snarky/thin-skinned comments on feedback.

Yeah. Schetch comments were out of line. We need transparency. Not excuses on why things are they way they are
