I know it’s been a little rough getting matches, but I finally managed to get some in every game. It’s been getting a lot easier to find matches.
I’m not going to rank these based on my favorites (I love them all) but by which ones I do the best in.
- Halo 2 Anniversary (+k/d)- Halo 2 Classic. (+k/d)- Halo 4 (+k/d)- CE (-k/d)- Halo 3 (-k/d)(+k/d or -k/d is indicative of “most of the time”)
Again, these are numbered based on how well I seem to do, not by which ones I like the best. Seems I need to brush up on my CE & H3.
How about you guys?
Guess I should have waited for all the hate & frustration to pass
I haven’t tried any matchmaking yet, but I’m very curious to see how I’ll do now that I have so much more experience with shooters than I did ten years ago, or even seven in the case of Halo 3. I know I’m pretty good at Halo 4, but it was a significantly different game than the other three, multiplayer wise.
Halo 3 for me. Most of my good games have been coming from that (Still fond of that Isolation match I entered. Felt awesome) and most of my matches period have come from there.
H2A gets me a more varied experience…
Lol, don’t you find it sad that you have to write “(Positive Thread)” in the title? Hahaha oh boy… anyway, I’d say my favorite is Halo 2A. There’s a lot of cool stuff in there, the hornet, silenced SMG, dual-wielding, the gungoose, etc. It feels like a fan-service multiplayer. I really hope 343 comes out with more remastered maps as DLC because the six we have now are so amazing, I’d love to see what they could do for a map like Terminal… imagine how cool that would be remastered with the train?

Halo 4 plays so much better on XB1. It’s the same game, but it just … well, it works. Really well. May be the only part of this game that does. They even fixed the kill cams. Everything feels more solid. Hit registration, movement, etc, … the console can keep up with the game now. It just looks and feels incredible.
And for those who don’t like Halo 4 and said you wouldn’t play it here, I implore you to give it a shot. You still won’t be happy with the basic mechanics of the game, but you should hop into a match nonetheless at least to get a feel for it. You’ll be impressed by everything except for the part you want to be impressed with. lol

I would LOVE a remastered Terminal. That was hands down my favorite map out of Halo 2.

Unfortunately, if we want more H2A maps we have to build them in Forge. Max Hoberman of Certain Affinity said making more H2A maps would take a year and conflict with Halo 5’s release. He also said that his company is currently working on the multiplayer for an FPS to come out next fall/winter that isn’t Halo 5. In fact, Halo 5 is the first Halo game that Max/Certain Affinity will have no part in.
