I know there’s quite a bit of negative feedback so far for Infinite and deservedly so. I have been part of that crew pointing out the absurdness to some of 343s decisions lol, but lets add a bit of positivity into the discussion.
What’s your favorite thing so far about Halo Infinite?
So far the gameplay is bangin for me. Never been a big PvP player before but I am absolutely loving the MP right now. Fiesta is honestly my favorite mode right now, so I’m gonna be really bummed when it gets rotated out again. Not a big fan of objective game modes, especially with people actively ignoring win conditions in favor of getting their challenges done because that’s where all the progression is, but eh.
Game’s still ridiculously fun, sad to see a few people don’t feel the same way. Some people dropping the game because of 0 incentive and the whole predatory MTX’s. Here’s hoping it all gets resolved soon!

How fun it is! Lovin’ the gameplay, most all the maps and weapons - I actually like the Pulse Carbine. *gasp*
The gun sounds. I truly think that the weapon sounds in this game are absolutely fantastic, they all sound strong, especially the Gravity Hammer.

The fact it feels distinctly Halo.
The physics, the abilities, the weapons, the gameplay. It’s not the Halo I remember growing up with, but it’s definitely Halo.
It’s also nice to connect with friends I haven’t played with since Reach. I just with the friends list worked a bit better. Adding players as friends I played matches with, seeing who’s online (Steam and Discord not just Xbox). It’s all pretty great, wonderful bones this game is built upon.
The little things
Like for example when your playing CTF in BTB, after a team captures a flag the flag changes positions… This may not seem like a whole lot but its the only Halo that does this and it really improves the overall experience.
