What is the community’s position on brute weaponry and vehicles in Halo 4? I personally enjoy every weapon the brutes have brought to the game [which isn’t much sadly]. I hope that a lot of the brute’s armory makes a return in H4. Especially the spiker [imo always better than the AR] and the Chopper. Im afraid though that brute weaponry wont return or be added to for canon-breaking reasons. But who knows, maybe we might be able to run some prometheans over with a chopper.

I’d say the Brutes will return, on their own. Nothing to do with The Covenant, but they’d probably be wondering why this strange planet is getting all the attention. So the Brute weapons will return eventually, hopefully more powerful, I found the Spiker sorta useless without Dual-Wielding them. The Brutes need a Spike Rifle, resembling the Needle Rifle, but shooting spikes obviously.
We should at least get the hammer back.
Is the railgun supposed to function as the bruteshot/Concussion rifle? I’ve only seen it in action once, and that was from that old leaked gameplay with the guy in a barn.

Why did you include a weapon from GOW and a Megatron tank replica? Not really Brute technology…
I personally would like the Mauler and Spiker in Halo 4. They were both really useful. For vehicles, I’d like the Chopper. I never really liked the Prowler, since the Warthog can beat it easily.

Brute weaponry does kind of remind me of Gow weapons. The speaker shoots and sounds like locust weapons. The lancer and spiker…
The brutes even looks similar to the locust and their taste is pretty similar in looks and performance…

If Brutes make Halo 4, I don’t see why they shouldn’t be without their weapons like Reach. If they don’t return, however, I’m sure the Hammer or Forerunner weapon like the hammer will return. I doubt 343i is planning on killing Grifball.

Don’t really care all that much, I’d rather fight Elites, only reason I’d really want to see them is for the Gravity hammer.

It was from a Bulletin a while back.
I would expect to see Brutes in at least one of the seasons of Spartan Ops. There’s a lot of time between Halo’s 4 and 5, so they could be included then, if not at launch.
If it means getting Choppers back then I’m all for the return of the Brutes.

I used them because they both seem like brute-ish weaponry. I knew of course they wern’t brute weapons, but they seemed to fit ideas i had for the made-up weapons
