a lot of people have been disappointed by Halo 5 and Reach stands a chance at surpassing Halo 5’s population. Reach currently at peak times in the day reaches 16k players for a 5 YEAR OLD game. Halo 5 overall does not feel like halo to me it’s just too fast paced and the new Spartan abilities really make it not feel like Halo. Me personally Halo 5’s campaign was a let down and was not what the advertisements made it out to be. Halo 5 aesthetically looks cartoony, plastically and un-realistic even though Halo is sci-fi. I prefer Reach’s gritty and realistic art direction over Halo 5’s art direction. Halo 5 lacked Forge on day one along with a working file share. In theater you can not go into Campaign games and you can not record clips and screenshots within Halo 5. You can use the features of the Xbox one but the clips are blurry and are restricted to 30 seconds long. While Reach did some major things wrong such as Bloom and armor abilities, it did SO many things right, and is still my and many other halo fans favorite Halo. If Reach was on the top 10 most played games on Xbox one and had a higher population than Halo 5 I think that would send a big message to 343 that the fans are fed up with the direction they are taking this franchise. I feel like Halo 5 was a good step but we are still a long, long way from ever achieving the glory of the Halo 3 and Halo Reach days, if doing so is even possible at this point…
People voting 100k… wow. There is literally no way in hell that’s happening. I’d guess 20,000, but not much above that.

I’ve been on when it’s at 17K-19K already. That’s NOW on the 360,
so >20K will easily be attainable.Unfortunately, one will not be able to see how much Halo5 drops since 343’s MO is NOT to add a community counter to ANY of their games since they know how much their work is half-a–ed.

Yeah, I can see that. But what was the need for your entire post to be bolded?
Probably over 100k, no one plays halo 5 anymore, game sucks lol reach is the best!
Rumor is still Reach available on 12th of Dec, but cannot find any concrete evidence of that date for certain…any updates?
Spartans will definitely be increasing!

I definately think a lot of people will go back to Reach, but theres no way its getting back to 100k. If it did that would probably kill H5.
I’m guessing 30k-35k, mainly due to the fact that the halo community has been dwindling over the years and there aren’t as many players as there once was.

You can thank the giant turd that is 343 for that one. Their MO is addition by subtraction, then -Yoinking!- excuses as to why it’s better. Frig off 343.

can’t really disagree, halo 5 hasn’t helped much…
Well guys thanks for the feedback the fun part of this poll is that when Reach hits XB1 we will have an answer to this poll
I doubt it would be very much, yes the Reach fans are very loyal, however that doesn’t mean there is an army of them.
I think it’d be around 30k-40k. Reach right now I think is around 15k-23k, so doubling the population seems likely. I just can’t wait to play Living Dead on Xbox One!
Reach peaks around 28,000 on 360, I’m crossing my fingers to see Reach’s population get around 40,000 or hopefully 50,000 once it gets BC.
