Population Question and backward Capability

Hi all,

im just wondering if halo reach is well populated at the moment in 2017? I just bought an X360 (traveling the world so something for Down time while working in australia) I tried halo 3 but just can’t get a game only social slayer and when I get in at 8pm Victoria time zone I get like 2 games an hour. So I’m thinking about getting reach.

Also so isn’t it backwards compatible does that mean if someone on X1 downloads it they can play with someone on X360 with a disc?

Cheers Happy humpday people :vulcan_salute:t3:

Don’t have any ideas about population, but backwards compatibility does indeed mean that 360 users can play with those who have the game on Xbox One

Halo: Reach is probably one of the strongest running Halo games for how old it is. You should be able to find about 12,000 people online in matchmaking at a time. I don’t know if that has changed in the past two months however. I lost my gold membership two months ago so I don’t know if the servers are down or if everyone just quit for some reason but I highly doubt that. Anyway, have fun!

It’s not that low I can hop on and find a match usually within a minute or two sometimes in seconds. Backwards you can play with 360 and one so I’d reccomend investing in a one that way you can play one games and still play old titles too. Or wait for that Scorpio to come out

Reach is for Auden populated I can confirm, I bought the game and have no trouble finding a game in team slayer, double team takes a while and no one plays MLG anymore apparently :frowning: that’s all I used to play!

You can still play most of the game types and have an easy time finding players, not the same can said about halo 3

i still playing it, so are alot of people
