It is dead?
Is there any decent players that still play double team?
Cant wait for master chief collection eakkkk
Well as of right now there are only 10,704 with only 83 in the Double Team playlist.
It’s a shame that so many people just play slayer gametype. I mostly like the CTF and now Invasion but I almost can’t play these gametypes because the number of players. So I must deal with it.
“Is it dead?” Far from it; Halo:Reach gets more players than Halo 4 nowadays.
I believe Reach is the only Halo still in the top 20 population count for XBL.
sometimes the population is lower for 7k but in the weekends raise to 20k
People don’t seem to realise that Reach’s population counter takes into account all the people who are also playing campaign, Firefight and custom games. Halo 4’s counter doesn’t, it only shows the War Games population. Halo 4’s population could very well be double what it shows.
Just played today. Found full lobbies way faster than in h4. It’s decent.

It gets up to over 20k every afternoon since the summer started.

Halo 4 doesn’t have that many people playing Spartan Ops or Campaign, not to mention Custom Game options are inferior to Reach, so that’s highly unlikely.
Also. I’m pretty sure Reach’s population counter doesn’t count Custom Games; it counts Firefight & Campaign matchmaking alongside regular Multiplayer, but I doubt it counts Custom Campaign, Firefight, Multiplayer, or Forge. That wouldn’t make any sense.
Reach is the last proper Halo game!
Halo 4 is poo and might as well be in the COD series! It doesn’t deserve to be called Halo, I hope 343 can redeem themselves with Halo 5 because Halo 4 is just pants and embarrassing.
Does Arena still have a decent population? I always enjoyed the league system. I might pick up Reach again because Halo 4 is garbage. I’ll be playing lots of H3 and Reach in preparation for MCC.
What I know, Arena is pretty low populated, roughly about 40-50 at its maximum. Team Slayer, BTB and Living Dead are the highest populated.
Is it dead? Not even close. It ranges from 15000 to 25000. I don’t even play halo 4 now, so I’m well acquainted with the state of Reach MM.
If you notice, that number is greater than or equal to Halo 4 on most given days.
