The population I getting lower and lower… It’s worse than reaches at this point… Thought on how to fix this or opinions on this?
Not worse than Reach but still bad, i hope Bravo fixes matchmaking soon.
Honestly if they didn’t put the population in the game nobody would know any different because games are still found instantly. Population doesn’t matter as long as you can still find a game, which could even be done in Reach with less than 20k players.
So population really doesn’t matter.

Still it’s disheartening to see what’s become of our 3 year 300k population we had back on halo 3

We have the Title Update, Infinity Tournament, January Ranking System, Crimson Map Pack, Next Season of Spartan Ops plus Christmas.
People will start coming back

I’m worried too. But really these posts usually degrade into the sarcastic example I stated. All these variants of posters will take to this post and deny each other’s assessments till it drops off the board.
H2/H3 high populations cause Halo was simple back then and fun, had things people liked.
Reach took things out people liked, game developers added in they thought people would like, nobody liked it. Game wasn’t fun.
Halo 4 re-adding things people didn’t like from Reach and adding in even more things that turn people away.

The title update most likely won’t fix this game. Nobody cares about that stupid tournament. The ranking system will only be on waypoint so it’s broken again. The map pack is 3 BTB maps and guess what we already have like 10 of those.
Christmas might raise the population a little but it will eventually fall off again. Anyone who has removed their delusional goggles can see this game is fading fast.

You tell that to Mr Red Bar Host when i search in KOTH or Slayer Pro when there’s only 300 players in them.

It was to make some new maps for SpOPs cause you know for you people who were complaining all the time that levels were getting repetitive…
The Population has halved in just one month
Maybe with new maps, and Holiday and new year sales the numbers will go back up but the drop in population online is something that stands out
Wonder if MS or 343i will comment on it…nah, that would be silly

A great explanation for how futile these threads become. This is awesome.
It makes me cry to see the population drop so low, i was really hoping for at least 300k players at this point. I love this game and will play it forever more until Halo 5.

Halo will never see strong populations again until they chose to go back the simplicity of the older games in the series instead of trying to chase other games.
