I left halo 4 2 weeks ago because of how displeased I was, I come back and most playlists have less then 1000 people in them and I hear about this playlist rotation bull? Can you not afforded severs? I payed 60$ for this I expect it to have the things I love about halo not make me wanna snap my disk don’t get me wrong the story was great I loved it but where’s my playlists? And custom games have almost no options??? Who was slaking off when you made this game I wanna know who your beta testers where because I know they certainly weren’t people who have been playing halo since halo 1 and cherish this game and respect it for what it is.

Amen, I was at the midnight release and I was so pumped about this game. When I got home and played it I was like, “its just some opening day hangups” but they seem to have no intentions of bringing this game to what it should be at. Its a shame they were to busy changing everything in this game they forget to keep the important things… 343 how does it feel to have ruined a billion dollar franchise?

I agree. I like a lot of the changes, but the fact that they ignored and left out some of the fundamental things that made Halo special and addicting is overshadowing all of the cool stuff they actually added to the game.
I don’t know what numbers you are looking at, but Halo 4 still has an average of over 150k each night I am on.

That’s not exactly an impressive number considering the game hasn’t even been out for 3 weeks…
I actually like this game, but I called this happening the second they started talking about adding in all the CoD elements. They were never going to take market share away from CoD by making a SciFi version of it. They were only destined to push more people away…looks like its already starting.
It is true, there was less than 1000 people in most playlists. However, this was late on a Monday night Australian time. If the population were to be modelled as a sine graph, that would be the local minimum.

No, 343 has ruined Halo by trying to turn it into CoD 2.0. This game really doesn’t even deserve to be called Halo.
I don’t mind it halo is being improved to compete with CoD and other FPS games like BF,borderlands2 and some tps games like Mass effect,Gears of War. You don’t like it you can leave don’t let the door his you on the way out.

the majority seems to agree, the population has already dropped under 100k daily.
its people like you that are ruining the game, with the refusal to accept that the game isn’t actually good and no where near as advertised while fully willing to accept all the crap thrown at you and defend it at all costs is causing 343i to just ignore the people with legitimate concerns and ruin the entire franchise.

If 343 was smart and implemented a real 1-50 ranking system like in Halo 3, and separate social playlists, maybe this problem wouldn’t be happening.
I’ll keep on playing this game. I still need to get the remaining Spartan Ops achievements.

It all depends on what time you play. There’s times when there’s less than 1000 on playlists and then other rimes when there’s more than 10000.

Quit being ignorant of a pure fact- this game is a diamond under 10 lbs. or crap. They thought they were going to reinvigorate the franchise when really they only made it better than Reach prepatch. That isn’t saying much at all.
A ranking system could have gone a long way.

By creating a game that borrows elements from other popular competition you are sullying the greatness and unique experience this franchise had already established. At the end of the day you can make a game have fun, Call of Duty features to attract those Call of Duty players, but those players can just go play Call of Duty instead. Halo used to be different and fun. Now it is getting more bland with every title, which is ironic because they add more and more things while they forget that it was just guns, grenades, and melees which made the game. Even a lot of the non-competitive players are urked at what has happened to the franchise. They don’t need to attract other players with things that feel familiar to what these other players are used to- they need to attract players by giving them something else that they like better, a unique experience. Old Halo titles had that feel. These new Halo titles don’t.
