Pop, Lock and Rocket Achievement???

I’m trying to get as many achievements as possible on a Solo Legendary Campaign. What’s up with the Pop, Lock and Rocket achievement? It’s listed as a possible achievement in my guide, but when I check the in-game list of achievements, it’s not there. Did they end up doing away with this particular achievement? And why?

I guess they removed it, i couldn’t find any explanation but doesn’t matter that much

Are you not talking about the Poppin’ & Lockin’ achievement from Halo: Reach?

If not, which guide are you looking at?

What achievement are you talking about? I have about every achievement in Halo but I have no recollection of ‘Pop, Lock and Rocket’.

After a quick google, it looks like this achievement was either renamed or removed from the game before launch, but after the strategy guide was made.

Any chance you could provide a description of the achievement?

Just asked a friend to check their copy of the Prima guide, looks like this achievement was removed from Halo 4 entirely.

> Pop, Lock and Rocket - In Mission 5, guide the missile to the Gravity Beam without colliding into any debris.

Well that is interesting.

Sounds like you were supposed to actually guide the missile originally, instead of it being a scripted event in the final game. Very…curious.
