Yea I’m with you on that. My colors have always been either white and black or a light blue with black/white. I luckily kinda have the blue with two of the coatings but neither of them are exactly how I’d like it to look and then there literally is nothing in the way of white for me. The only one whites out everything including the undersuit and has cyan accents for some reason.
Personally I think they should make the coatings do nothing but essentially give you patterns. Such as the camo ones and that one from tactical ops that just makes one arm a completely different color than the rest of the armor.
Make the coatings do that but give us the old school color selections that way we can apply both. You want a special pattern then you throw on a coating and you still get to use your colors just in a more unique way. You could have a hot pink camo spartan if you wanted to basically.
That’s ultimately what seems like the easiest and best solution to the coating issues IMO.
