It might just boil down to the fact I have ridiculously bad luck, but far too often I’m getting matched with players that won’t pull their own weight in a team game and end up leaving, which negatively affects the performance of the entire team. I’ve recently been matched with players going 3 kills to double digit deaths both on my team and the opposing team. This was not an issue I experienced in the first two weeks of launch.
Any of you guys have similar issues?
Occasionally sure, but no more or less than I’m used to with any other Halo
My main thing is that I get matched against diamond and platinum players and I’m only ranked gold 3. I get owned by these guys. They live to play halo 24 7. How can I compete with that
I haven’t seen any of this personally because I don’t do arena, but I’m reading a lot of posts talking about mis-matches, and quitting due to mis-matching, and just general disgruntlement with skill imbalances. And, by extension, the ranking system. Not sure if this is just post-launch griping that results from not having adjusted to things yet, or whether there is a genuine and palpable trend happening. Hard to say how long this would have to go on before I qualify it as “a problem,” but I’d at least like to see a rank re-set and another whole season play out to see if the pattern repeats, and to see how many people feel the effects.
Sometimes I’m the man, other times I’m that guy… depends on the map, the newer ones that got added to playlists, I’m pretty terrible at them it seems !
I think that this is a problem in a lot of FPS games. Halo is tough because in the arena games people will not join in mid round like in other FPS. I know in warzone that I have joined in mid game which is great and hopefully in BTB it will be the same way so that I don’t invest all that time playing a game then people just drop out. But yes this has been a problem for me and I do lose a lot of games because it is terribly unmatched.
