I can’t disagree with your disappointment over the lack of BR starts, but at least we have equal starts. That’s more than we’ve had in a long time.

Here are some pro tips to stop crying:
- get a Kleenex and wipe them tears away
- make an angry post on the forums
- learn to use the magnum
- learn battle rifle spawns

It just doesn’t make sense to have large maps without primary precision weapons as a loadout or the fact that there isn’t br/dmr gametypes as options. My problem is that they know it’s pure ignorance not to include it from the beginning… all the other halos had options, why not this one?

huh?
I play Arena primarily and none of the Arena or Breakout maps are large compared to past Halo games.
Maps like Ragnorak need a BR.
Maps like Empire? Pistol does work.

He’s right. CE always had DMR starts.

But see, this is where you lose me. The first part here, you can compete using other weapons. The BR isn’t the embodiment of competitiveness. The second part I get, people like BR starts, but personally, I think having it on the map promotes movement. When you have the BR and I don’t because you found it on the map first, it forces me to become better with the magnum, move more carefully, fire more carefully, etc. Because unlike Halo 2 and 3, I have a chance with my magnum and AR. When everyone starts with the BR, they tend to just stand around in a spot with a good line of sight, strafe back and forth behind cover, and it just becomes a game of peek-a-boo, but that’s just a matter of what you like.
Now the third part, “/end rant” … well, you said just 20 words. That’s not a rant.
Lol I’d like to hear a defense for AR Spartan charging which takes little to no skill it’s charge than spray. I see that a lot in arena and it’s a major turn off for me.
