LOLOLOLOLOLOL no… well… ok maybe. Now before you throw your Pitchforks and torches at me, hear me out:
Alt accounts - I personally have a dummy account I use to play infected for fun (just infected though, no I’m not a dirty smurfer.)
Lets say I never opened those packs given to me at the start. I could just open them, sell my reqs from that account, and add it to the req pool.
End result? Infinite moneys. Even if you aren’t playing on these alt accounts, you can still easily stockpile Hannibal scorpions using spartan company trading, rendering REQ packs useless.
Scamming - Self explanatory. While you could make your company have a “buy in” with REQ points, or host a huge giveaway, it doesn’t take rocket science to find that this also opens the doors for REQ point/REQ card related scams. We don’t need to beat a dead horse with outdated phishing tactics.
Exclusivity - again, since you can’t refund your REQ points once you put them in, this easily allows the Leaders/Lieutenants to just pocket the req points for themselves. A more direct donation of req points between users would be a better option for spartan companies. (But again, this brings up the problem with alt accounts, so if this happens, there needs to be a limit on how many REQ related trades you can make/accept per day.)
TL;DR - While this idea seems cool, it has/brings up a lot of problems that can’t really be solved. As of now, the option is either to not have it at all, or have it, but put extremely strict limits on who you can trade with, and how many trades you can do per day with the spartan company you’re in. Preferably, my suggestion would be that you can’t trade with someone that plays on the exact same xbox (so you can’t just sign out of an account, make an alt, and transfer reqs to your main account), and you can only do 2-3 trades per day.
In other words, yes, it has potential, but the traffic of trading needs to be EXTREMELY limited/monitored to prevent abuse.
