I’m curious if location has anything to do with patch working for people or not. Basically the format im looking for is (Area)/(Work or Didnt work). For Area you can say state or general region(East, Midwest, West) or if ouside of US what country
California. Patch works. I solo que.
Europe, north - Better than before the patch: Most of my games after-patch has taken from 1-5 minutes to find. Sometimes, it takes longer. Sometimes I get stuck in a lobby with only a few waiting for other people to join in, and sometimes I lose the connection to the host.
It’s still bad, but better.
Midwest. Patch works great
North Carolina, patch is working nice and fast 
east coast. no love. seems for the left coast everything is working great. but for those of us who live on the correct side, and significantly better side, of the country the patch hasn’t helped
edit: -Yoink!- it is better. works pretty good solo, completely worthless with a party.
Australia: No apparent improvement, could even be worse.
I’m in the infinity I have yet to play come and save me !
New York, works for me.
British Columbia Canada. Matchmaking works better than before the patch solo but still needs work. It’s getting better! I don’t really have any friends to play Halo with to test how good it works with friends since they’re all on GTA V.
Australia. It’s a lot better but still a few bugs. Only queuing solo for now.
East coast, finding games faster but the connection is bad.
Minnesota. Patch made game worse for me. Initially, game crashed three times. Finally loaded. Went into Matchmaking. Multiple failures to connect to host in Team Slayer. Sat at the “Attempting to connect” (or whatever it says verbatim) screen for ten minutes. Backed out and went to Big Team Battle. Same thing happened multiple times across the span of a half-hour. Backed out. Went into Anniversary playlist. Game found within seven minutes. Three versus four; uneven teams is still a thing. Played two games with this group of people and both of them were more laggy than any Halo game I’ve played on the Xbox 360.
Before this patch, I was at least consistently connecting to the games I found. They also were fairly lag-free. Now I can say neither, really. Such a shame.
Texas, can’t even play solo now. I could right after the patch. Now it’s worse. God forbid I try to play with a team.
California, orange county. Solo. Very fast about 2min or less to wait for a game so far.
Southeast, queuing solo and it’s slow. I’ve gotten 2 games in about 30 minutes and 1 of them failed to launch properly. Getting stuck in random lobbies of 5 players waiting for another 5…
Texas. Still very inconsistent matchmaking. Also when games actually do get setup, seem to have more lag. Solo
edit: patch seems worse. Game freezes while loading map sometimes, goes into infinite finding players loop (even with full teams), games are laggy and glitchy
Northeast can’t get anything!!!
Texas - I would say I have about 50% improvement
