Forgot to add, still no collision., no ranked slayer. Grenades are still ping pong balls with no consistent trajectory, that detonate when they feel like it…

I saw a comment earlier, mentioning how they’d give it a week. I think that’s the best comment in the thread. I recently found out about this game, and was really enjoying myself with it before the visual changes in the last update. Maybe I’m dog water at the game but I was maining this game before the update. I was looking forward to checking out the new maps, and forge or whatever the custom maps were but visually I don’t like how dark shaded area’s / player models appear to be.
I think the update is a great step in the right direction. I think you should be able to gain additional XP for the badges you get in game, and I would like to see spartan rankings as well not just the battle pass. I feel this way because once you are done with the battle pass there is nothing you are working towards. I feel having Spartan rankings will push players to continue to play even after the battle pass is done. So overall my wishlist would be to have a battle pass and a Spartan ranking system with getting credit for the badges you get in game.

Honestly very disappointed so far by the winter update or at the very least by the winter BP, I was expecting the BP to be something unique that make the wait of season 3 bearable.
To those that paid for the first BP it must be a joke.
I was expecting the Winter BP to bring more players and get more balance matches but unfortunately most of the matches I play are as unbalance as ever. And it’s weird because I find matches really fast. I wouldn’t mind waiting a little more to get a better experience.
I haven’t even tried the new mode, it doesn’t appeal to me at all. I suppose I should give it a chance at least.
Match XP is a cool addition for those like me that don’t even try to complete the weekly challenges.
Yeah I miss splitscreen so much. I can’t tell you how many times I’ll have a buddy over, and say “yo let’s play some halo”, and he’ll say “yeah let’s do it, I’ve been meaning to play the newest halo”.
And then my response: “Oh bro, we can’t play halo infinite split screen. We can only play MCC”.
It’s crazy that the last time we got a stand alone halo title that had split screen was in 2012 with H4.
I’m not sure if your games are lagging or not (there is a ping time to server live number that can be enabled in preferences), but you might want to try turning on the “Search Region:” “Local” option, which gives you more local Server games.

The campaign has gotten replays, and it’s fair to say that the imperfect production is finally in decent shape.
I’ve been playing the campaign for the third time in a year and playing Legendary.
It’s still a fun experience.
That’s why…
I wish it came out a year ago. I think.
Multiplayer challenges are now more comfortable and less stressful.
In Fortnite, teammates progressed just by clearing challenges, but in Infinite, players who only use weak weapons in situations that determine victory or defeat were rampant, increasing stress.
It was stressful and unfriendly to the point where I thought development hated us.
Winter update includes features that should have been on launch day in the first place
Game is still broken. Even more hacking/dsync issues present. Still missing campaign story updates with no indication of when that will happen.
for me the winter update has become a big flop.
for the campaign players it has add compleet notting and its almost 1 year that the campaign mode has stay the same boring thing after launch.
it has no new things at all to make the campaign less boring after you compleet all the story missions and mini missions.
it has also give more fuel to a hot topic then cool it down first so it has only make it more worse then it was before the update.
there have done notting with the clear voice about the crossplay system to make it from force to a option.
when the threads and post about it have make it good clear.
and it has not fix most off the main problems at all also.
like the playlist system.
