I was disapointed with forge and the custom games are is still broken after a year. Looks like I’ll be playing Halo MCC and Continue running my Battlefield 2042 Game Server. 343 has really disappointed me with this update. They said the custom game area was going to be fixed. It was’ not fixed. All I can say is damit it!

I am going to wait a week. Honestly haven’t played it much, since I busy and not all that motivated to play since Bot Bootcamp has been removed. I used that a lot to get warmed up and to calm down after getting completely and throughly trounced in PvP. So hopefully I will get motivated and play more this coming weekend since I get Veterans Day off. Then I’ll come back and vote.

Game will remain a flop to me unless splitscreen comes to pc. I’d be on everyday but the way it is they’re lucky to get a hour a week outta me

Okay hold up. What?!? Please tell me that was a typo or something. Splitscreen on PC? After they’ve confirmed splitscreen won’t be on any platform? …And the fact that… it’s PC? You can’t do splitscreen on PC my friend. You just can’t.
Lol that’s why split screen works on the mod tools for PC right? Because you can’t do it? . Gears 4 gears 5, Xenia emulator, nucleus coop. I’ve had this argument time and time again. Microsoft’s own PC controller adapter supports 8 controllers at once wirelessly. Use the damn feature devs. Do some research before you speak man. Also this isn’t the day of 15’ crts. Most of our PCs are on 23"+ monitors myself on a 55" 4k tv. There’s absolutely zero reason to exclude it from all releases especially mcc but screw me for expecting parity between console and PC especially with Xboxs whole play anywhere initiative.

I don’t feel that it was a flop per se.
I like the commando and shock pistol rework.
I’m ok with the BR nerf.
I still want more anti cheat in place cause I want to have confidence that the person I’m playing against is playing fair and right now I can’t say that.
Not a fan of the stealth one flag mode. Played it a few games, just can’t get into it.
Also I can’t put my finger on it, but the play seems a little different and not in a good way.
Would I have liked to see all the major fixes come. Sure. But for now, I’ll take this.
I still want watchdog fixed though…I’m not letting that go.

I mean, it did some good things and some bad things
I hate that some of the only playlists I was frequently playing are gone, and I don’t actually agree with most of the sandbox changes after testing them out, but forge is good and any new content to keep people interested is always helpful.
I miss doubles already. I don’t get why they have to take out half the playlists every time they change or add something. Ranked doubles should have been a set in stone game mode

Hah, huge W. got into a game with 20+ ppl yesterday just browsing custom maps. we all agreed this is what halo was missing. even tho there isn’t a custom game browser, using the built in xbox post feature to find players is adequate for now. I like the bp, shop got a new item and daily’s are back.
on the negatives side, desync and hit reg is worse. as i play more i noticed it varies is severity and is usually still playable but still have games where energy sword will lunge-hit-make the noise indicating that it hit-completely do zero damage-throw me in front of the guy i stabbed from behind- then i get ninja’d (ya hate to see it).

Not sure had a couple of games of ranked arena and it didn’t feel any different.

Forge is pretty epic looking, basically a game engine of its own which is really cool. The rest of it… meh. Campaign needs to be couch co-op, and needs to allow regular Xbox Ones and PCs to splitscreen with 4 players (even if it means reducing image quality). Then I’ll be happy with that.
The new maps are fine but too little too late so I don’t really care. New game mode is not bad but it annoys me that they made such a big deal about it when it’s just a custom game mode, nothing special.
Custom games is still broken though which is the big problem; saving files doesn’t work, deleting files doesn’t work, menus are wierd and buggy, and setting custom game options is still broken. That ruins forge for me so I’m still pretty disappointed at the moment.

since I paid for halo infinite september 30 , 2022 I have not been able to plat this game I only get Error code: (0x80070102). I’ve worked with many helpers who have tried but end up not doing anything to make this game I paid for not work.
I’ve requested phone calls and never received a call back. I’ve step thru all the methods to fix this error but it persist i’ve been told to check my date and time it’s pacific time and set perfect.
Now i’ve told to post to a forum so this is whati’m doing now.
I just want to play this game I bought.
There are definetely always some bugs and hot fixes that need to come from an update this size, but still I hear your frustration. The fact that custom games cannot be played correctly the first time through is very annoying.
I found the Halo Infinite Update to be a huge success. New maps, new game modes, weapon tuning, I’m very please and happy with what we have now. (or really still have)

I enjoy just being able to play BTB to complete my Challenges and the additional XP for games that gives me more incentive to just play the game at more my leisure. Also finally having a Mission Replay option for campaign.
But needing to remove playlists and folding game modes into others (such as Skockets in regular BTB since we don’t have Social BTB anymore and the removal of Bot Bootcamp) and the continued delays of full support for Forge shows a lot of fundamental issues with Infinite that are going to keep plaguing it from here on out, guaranteeing a cost for whatever gains they make.

It was mid. Given the early bugs, and what not,
No cross core so these customers I fully unlocked are kinda whatever for me, like I want the CQB helmet to go on my MK7.
It wasn’t horrible though it did bring much needed content to the game but it’s nothing spectacular given that most of the content is late content.
Like I already see MW 2 and Warzone 2 launch roadmap for season 1 and I’m like yea Winter update is mid.
But much needed. Hopefully all this is just a start to more stuff coming before season 3. Because outside of a few cosmetics from events. It’s a four month wait until season 3 if it is not delayed again
