Let’s settle this debate once and for all with a (hopefully) ultimate poll!
Try to keep this alive so we can get as many votes as possible!
Edit #1:
Well, it’s been about 40 min. now and Spartan Ops is in the lead with 28 votes (27 if you take away my vote, haha) 10 more than Firefight’s 18.
Let’s see if SO will win this or if FF can make a comeback!
Edit #2
It’s been almost 2 hours and SO has almost double the votes of FF!
SO: 49 (48 with subtraction of my vote)
FF: 29
Keep this thread alive!
Edit #3
After 3 hours it seems that this thread has finally died out, with 92 votes being made Spartan ops is the clear winner, taking 60 of those votes (including mine if that counts).
new cinematic episode, 5 new (somewhat) missions. I rather have story line with some added objectives than fighting hordes of enemy that become to repetitive.

Did you do that to my carbine comment on the swat thread?
People don’t realize that the only real reason they love FF is all the customization options and skulls you could put on. If they did the same for SO it would be just as popular or even more popular.

The only reason Spartan Ops is reused and cut off sections of campaign is because 343 had to save gigs and protect the framerate so that our xbox 360s won’t crash. The next gen xbox will be able to support longer levels, newer levels, and better objectives.
OT: Have to go with Spartan Ops. Its everything Firefight is except with objectives, bigger maps, storyline, and etc. Just wish that it had limited lives, skulls, and better objectives. Other than that, Firefight was just L.A.M.E.

> What?! LOL I can’t tell if you’re serious or not.
Then, instead of laughing at me, explain to me how i’m wrong.
Seriously, the only reason I went back to FF was for challenges and all the crazy things I can do with the custom options. Fighting hordes of enemies with no real reward for it gets stale after a while.
At least in Spartan Ops there is an objective and an awesome backstory to it. To me, fighting hordes of enemies to reach and objective is a lot more fun than doing it just to see how long you last.
Spartan Ops should be once a month so that it’s enough time for them to make some new levels because I’m already tired of playing the same 5 levels over and over. Quality over quantity.
i voted for firefight i really enjoy Spartan ops and they have a few missions that are basically firefights but i travel alot and it really bums me out that SO isnt available offline

Oh if the only reason you went back to FF is for challenges then I assume that you didn’t play ODST FF.
The link that I put up in that post included the thread that I made about my ideas for FF 3.0 these ideas include a day and night cycle that changes the enemies you’re faced with, objectives, fortifications, a credit system and a store so with all that I’m pretty sure that Firefight wouldn’t be very boring anymore. Right?
EDIT: Sorry if I’m coming off as an absolute -Yoink- or something like that.
I want both. This way, Spartan Ops doesn’t have to try and fill in the hole Firefight left by trying to toss a crap ton of enemies at you, and can focus more on interesting level design.
