Poll: Should Halo Infinite's Multiplayer Have Player Collision?

Yes, the lack of someting like player collision removes the simulation aspect of the game.

I usually side with pro players advice they basically live in the PvP side of the game but. Playing as a ghost was the worst advice I have yet to come across it’s like herasey… recalls the no sprint or clamber debates from the past… part of my strategy was to have the opponents trip an fumble over each other not be a hologram that splits into 2 players.

You know I just realized something. The entirety of the online multiplayer is supposed to be cannon so why would they make the battle simulations not actually behave like the real world? It’s supposed to be for training purposes so you’d want the most realistic settings like Collision and Friendly Fire. That’d be realistic. Otherwise it’s not actually preparing you correctly. A new Spartan 4 gets trained in this system and the first time they’re deployed they run right into another Spartan, bounce off, falls onto the floor and says “WTF?”. Then they realize that they’re not leaving flaming footsteps and they don’t have a neon holographic mohawk.

I dont know if you guys ever just throw a grenade or try to shoot an enemy and a team mate just happens to get in your firing line, so the grenade will bounce back and damage me or my shots will be wasted. If theres no collision, maybe make it for ALL projectiles too. Bloody ridiculous how many times this has killed me, makes no sense. Id rather have the full collision or no collision at all.

I’ve seen people troll pretty hard because they know they can’t get hurt by friendlies. They’ll purposely wait to walk in front of you when you have rockets or are throwing grenades. It’s freaking ridiculous. They should turn on full collision across the board. I honestly want friendly fire back so people stop spamming nades into firefights all the time.

I’d like it so that grenades that damage an opponent will also damage teammates. As in if you just lob it at a friendly it won’t hurt them but if it’s in range of an enemy then anyone in the blast takes damage. Stops the straight up griefing while reducing grenade spam but it’s probably too hard to code to be worth the effort.

I’d be totally okay with grenade (and all explosive weapons) friendly fire being on in social as well.
