Poll Should alien speices be added as armor cores

Well said. Playable species is something that’s just apart of Halo, it seems more empty without them.

Yep, game has felt a bit empty sense 4 because of the lack of elites at the least.

When I saw that in Reach Elites were only playable in a few modes, I had a feeling that they’d be taken away, and that’s exactly what happened. I think Bungie was gradually trying to get rid of playable Elites with Reach, and in Halo 4 they’d take them out the same as 343 did, because Bungie did have plans to make a Halo 4.

Which is really sad as if this poll is to be believed a majority of players want playable aliens in some capacity.

And that is of those that care at all. sure it is a small sample size and just barely 2x a viable sample right now.

Out of 200 hundred voters, a combined 81 percent wants playable species in some capacity, that’s not even counting all the thousands people in that old mega thread of 13,000 replies.

We are the majority here, so why has it been ten years since we’ve had playable Elites in a main Halo game?

If this ever happens I think Elites are the only reasonable choice. I think size of the other species will play a huge advantage and also a huge disadvantage during gameplay. Like do we want it to be like Goldeneye and have grunts be the Oddjob character?! So small and sneaking around?

I think this feature with too many species would make the multiplayer a joke. We need a species that is similar height and proportions as Masterchief.

Totally, they should ship S3 with Elites and Warzone/Invasion, then S5 ships with Brutes and a new mode, () 25v25, Banished vs USNC. Players pick what faction they want to play as and then what species (USNC can play Elites/Spartans) (Banished Elites/Brutes) The gamemode is in 3 stages, each stage must be completed to advance to the next stage, once all stages are complete, the attackers win. If the defenders hold out for a certain amount of time, the defenders win, each sides battles over spawn points. You can spawn at any controlled spawn point and all spawn points generate AI troops for the controller of that spawn point.

I’m not a big a fan of Invasion. While it was kinda fun inside of Reach, I’d rather have Elites completely back at some point like we had in H2/H3.

Tbh the Elites in Infinite kinda seem like they were intended to be in Multi at some point. Their designs are awesome and varied, with different Shoulder Pads for example, and they don’t seem as tall as in H5 which made them impossible to use for Multi.

They still move in H5’s ugly way which I don’t like tho.

I think it would be cool to have an Invasion/Warzone mix, where one side is the Banished and the other is UNSC. That would definitely make both modes much more interesting.

Just imagine a UNSC vs Banished mode

Spartans and elites vs Brutes in a firefight like mode where you have to complete objectives and defend a fob.

Spartans and Elites VS Brutes and Skirmishers please!

Would be fun as hell especially with the differences in design and gameplay they would bring.

My simple answer is hell yes. They say Halo infinite. Prove it. Let us be infinite. Let us build maps with AI’s and run lobbies of six Spartans fighting for Thier lives against an elite kill squad with 3 Elite 2 jackals and a bloody hunter with ai.

Let’s make our own damn invasion game type again. Let’s bring back the age of machinima. This is only possible with multi species.

The problem that Halo 5 Warzone had was it was bland. I see Warzone as a cheap knockoff of Invasion, but if you combine the two you actually have something worth playing.

At this point I’m with a lot of others. Im

for additional species as long as elites are first and the technical issues before the species are handled first

I’d like Spartans vs Elites in main games. ODST vs Kig Yar in side games with health packs.

I want to play as a Kig-Yar and taunt the grunts.

This is the only time i’ve ever heard this, but I’m extremely doubtful this was actually said

This is still something I’m really surprised wasn’t a thing in h5. Their humanoid form made them perfect for an alternate player skin, and they already had armor and color variation in game.

same, the fun thing is kig-yar would actually be easier to balance then elites.
