I want infinite social to have a composer like the superior game MCC has where you can pick which type of game you want…why does it have to be one or the other? Some like precision weapon starts some like AR starts why not have both? I do prefer AR starts most of the time as it encourages more map movement vs most camping back with BRs. But sure sometimes I want the more competitive BR start game play.
You must hate vehicles if you want everyone running around with a hydra.

In my Custom maps All Vehicles In the map will be at your base and the vehicles will respawn every 180 seconds “AFTER” it has been destroyed.

Honestly, for BTB we should have loadouts. Switch between UNSC weapons. Let us play around a bit with different combos and see what we’ll like. It’ll balance out because different people are better with different setups. Me, im hell of a lot better with a BR or Commando. BUt my buddy from work is nasty with an AR.
No no no no no. Keep the non equal starts crap out of matchmaking. I wouldn’t be opposed to creating the feature for use in custom games.

I think BR + AR is most fun for social modes personally. Allows you to practice ur BR shot for ranked if u want, makes the transition from social to ranked and vice versa more seamless, and just feels most fun to me.

The commando isn’t a good gun. It’s skill ceiling is too high for most. Most people are just going to drop it for a BR and it will get left in the dust.

I know. I’m still waiting till it gets that aa buff mentioned in past blogs. Thing is, it’s got a lot working against you when you’re aiming and firing the gun.

All it takes for one of these things to get brought up and it’ll be fine. Right now, trying to fight all 4 of these issues when you’ve got a better gun isn’t practical unless you’ve got skill and can land your shots.
Hat’s off to anyone that does this consistently. If you ask me, I think the aim assist needs a tune. It’s extremely low and the stick factor needs an improvement.
I am not, both sides have valid points. While I am on the AR starts side and head BR starts I understand where they are coming from especially having played other halos.

I literally just searched for it this morning. I didn’t get any message about it not being compatible.
One thing I realized pretty quickly is that it, similar to the pulse carbine, loses a lot of its quality up close. It works in cqc in a pinch but becomes more random and hard to regulate aim. It has a sweet spot window at mid range where you can absolutely shred with it and I think that’s why it would be a good starting weapon in BTB. Have either the AR or Sidekick secondary (I personally don’t like either Weapon so I wouldn’t care which), and I think it would bridge the gap people have in their enjoyment of the playlist.
