- Current Rotating Shop Storefront
- 200cr per Cosmetic Item, purchased through armory as is, no rotation only introduction
I just want to gather some feedback, which of these systems would you rather put money into, and how much would you get? A single set of armor? Multiple sets of armor? One for each cosmetic slot? Emblems? Weapon charms? Vehicle customizations? Coatings? ETC.?

A better store front with more options and cheap daily items would be cool

neither, I want all content to be earned in game through the BP, as was promised.

They never said that everything would be obtainable only through the battlepass. What they said is that anything in the battlepass would not be able to be bought directly from the shop (tier skips fall in the grey area of this promise, but that’s not what this is about). I have no issues with cosmetics being sold in a shop, but they HAVE to be reasonably priced and NOT in any way be stripped from the (mostly) free to earn section of the game.
For example: the Mark V Armor Core. We’re not getting every single cosmetic from Halo: Reach through the battlepass (unreasonable to think we would in future seasons, considering this season is based on Reach itself), and if the leaks are true that pieces of the Mark V armor core are coming to the shop, that is something that is simply outrageous and very clearly stripped away just to pressure people into throwing money at Infinite’s store. We were able to get every piece of Reach armor in both Reach and MCC without having to pay a cent beyond the game’s sale price. Re-selling stripped content is what you, and everyone, should be having issue with. It’s predatory marketing.

Bumping this thread because I was about to make one just like it. I think rotating items is gimmicky. These are skins, only as rare as 343 decides they are. Not like we can trade them like trading cards- Less you trade accounts, but that’s-
Regardless-
Buying items in the armory customization, where you can see them on the armor?
Yeah, that’s perfect. Idk why we have to have a weekly rotation, just have a static shop.
Oh, it’d be because you could unlock everything with $100 and not have anything to unlock by playing the game, outside of the battle pass.
Gee, can you imagine if they just made rewards earnable through playing the freakin’ game and leveling up?
Seen others say it, I’ll say it to:
I’d take REQ packs over this.
None. I put money into purchasing the game, I unlock everything through progress. If not, you can look at my spartan to see what cosmetics i put money into.
That would be an acceptable solution although I’m sure Microsoft disagrees.
I do remember getting that impression from multiple things, but I’ll take your word on it. Damn I just really hate this new paradigm. To me the multiplayer being F2P was entirely a cash grab, the game still cost me $60 and it actually overall had much less content than previous halo games. People said the campaign would be justified at $60 because of its size, but despite all the filler crap they added, it still feels like it is just about as long.
On the multiplayer thing I have always been adamantly against battle passes but in this case of this game I gave it a shot… I thought that surely if I bought the battle pass I would get access to all the stuff locked behind the paywall, and that since it was called Heroes of Reach it would contain all of the content they ripped from Reach. I just feel like they constantly betray my trust, and constantly gouge deeper for weaker and weaker content

Both. Have a second tab to buy individual items and have the bundles on the first tab like they had always been.
Reminder to the playerbase: Don’t buy what you are not going to equip or use. Just because it’s available does not mean you need to have it.
