Poll - Intentionally betrayals?

PLEASE VOTE!!!

i normally follow them and constantly take their shield down but not kill them then just annoy them whenever i see them. normally they will kill me if they’re annoyed enough and then boot them!!! lololol

Quit. If his l33t MLG Pro tank skillz are so much better, then a numerical disadvantage shouldn’t be too much for him to handle.

Usually I try and get off as many rounds with the power weapon as I can. I like watching the person search around for the weapon in my loadout screen.

I love it when somebody tries to betray me for the Sniper, so I shoot all the bullets into the sky and give them their weapon back. XD

I betray them once, -Yoink!- then take said power weapon, wait until they come for revenge then commit suicide with the weapon. I particularly enjoy this on hemmorage when they go into the water to retrieve the sniper only to die.

lol i will have to try this

Nice to see someone else decided to make a topic about it, its pretty awful when your betrayed on purpose and dont get a option to boot them. Generally if they believe their skills to be so much better than someone elses that it takes killing that person for a power weapon, then I dont see the harm in annoying them repeatedly by taking their shields and health down to nothing only to watch them take one shot from a DMR. But I’ve noticed in my past few games that people like this seem to tag along with a buddy and let their buddys pick up the power weapons just to hold them until they respawn, which is even more aggravating.

I just dont understand why theres not a limit on how many betrayals someone can have a game without being booted or such?

I started the poll because I was playing a game and another player was killed right in front of me. I promptly finished off the enemy and pick up the rocket launch my teammate dropped upon being exterminated. Apparently he see me pick it up in his dead state and 30 seconds later betrays me and picks the rocket launcher back up. I promptly start AR harassing him for the entire remainder of the game which was probably 14 min. Stopping only to -Yoink!- him when he died with one enemy bullet, well if I survived because I was shooting him even if the enemy was shooting me. This is word for word the message history after that occurred:

Moron (not his real tag): YOU ARE A VERY VERY STUPID NOOB

Me: Betray me for a power weapon and I am going to hunt you the rest of the game guaranteed.

Moron: You know that those wepons where mine but you pus@y the entire game out to another player learn to play if not to play NOOB

Me: The power weapons BELONG to whoever is holding them idiot.

Moron: If you’re so good to me you were !@#cking the game if i belonged weapons NOOB

Me: (I was laughing to hard to reply so I blocked him)

I swear that is word for word caps, spelling everything of the conversation, well except the curse words which I changed for family values. This is the only occasion I use to -Yoink!- btw because for the most part I think its childish but I was going for maximum harassment value.

I go Predator on them.

I love how he talks in the messages. Did you record the game in theater? I’d like to see it.

Hasn’t happened to me much. I think I should try to learn HLG spots and hide there with the weapon. Of course I’ll also laugh my -Yoink- off when he tries (and fails) to come to my spot.

None of the above, i just avoid them. Betray them, they boot you, its really not worth it. Two wrongs dont make a right. Just avoid them.

I shoot all of the bullets except for one, and that one has to be reloaded in! It’s hilarious!

Anyways, I don’t do anything except for the above, but I do scream at them for a few seconds! Sure, it’s usually the exact response they were trying to illicit, but I’m not gonna sit there silently as they act like immature morons who think they’re better than everybody else and are too damn impatient to simply wait for the next weapon to spawn.

I stand in front of them and hope they shoot me, especially if they stole my rockets or sniper. Eventually I will get that boot button. Remember: The more you betray people (and I have heard this even counts non-lethal friendly fire), the less betrayals it takes for someone to get the boot option. Also, I remember reading something from Bungie back when the game launced that quitting and betraying frequently would get you matched with similar people. Don’t know if that actually works or not, but I rarely do friendly fire, and I rarely get teamed up with betrayers.

I’m a ‘none of the above’. I’m so sick of this sort of crap that I don’t even go to pick up power weapons at the beginning of the game any more. I only bother if it’s one of those maps with excess power weapons.

I usually just follow them with a plasma pistol and annoy the crap out of them

I remember an Invasion Slayer game on Spire when a guy was waiting by a drop for weapons and a tank drops and kills him. I get in the tank and then he just shoots me with a grenade launcher. I betrayed him twice before he could kill me. He wanted to boot me but the third time my machine gunner killed him instead. Since it was now on fire, I ditched it and an Elite with a Concussion Rifle blew it up.

Message History

Him (Didn’t see it till I got the next message after the game): take a f*cking rope

Him (After game): are you a mexican, cause you stole my vehicle

Me: No, I got it first.

Him: me no speak mexicano

Me: It’s called Spanish idiot…

I’m not sure if my first reply is correct, but everything else is word for word. It would be nice if they organized it like text conversations on most phones now, where you can see what you both said.

Well usually when people betray me for power wep’s I watch them fail, die with the weapon tea-bag there corpse and knock their shields down for the rest of the game while they get headshot every time I do :). Honestly I think the first time someone betrays you you should have the option to boot them. In stuff like splocket’ s I was about to get a perfection saved my team-ate’s life but accidently betrayed him and he booted me…I was soooooooooo p!ss3d off.

Haven’t you guys noticed that that when you accidently betray people you get booted but when you intentionally betray people you don’t.

Here is one of the conversation’s I had with a 9 year old beyrayer who has terrible grammer.

Me: Sweet a Sniper

Him: MY SHNIPER! GIVE ET TI MEH!!!

Me: Just wait till it spawns back.

Him: (Stars shooting at me with a DMR)

Me: Dude what are you doing?

Him: Jetting duh Shnipau!

Me: Dude, stop.

Him: MY SHINIPAU, AHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAH!!!

Me: Shoot him once and tell him stop.

Him: (Betray’s Me) YESH MY PWESHOUSH SHNIPER!!!

Him: Instantly killed by other team.

Him: WHA DU HEK I HADE DU SHNIPAU I WAS INVINCHIBAU

Me: Take the Sniper and get 9 kills about to get the Sharpshsooter.

Him: MY SHNIPEAU!!!

Me:I get betrayed…

Him: YESSHHHHHHHHHH FINALLY MY SHINPE- (Get’s Booted)

Him: Sending me a message saying YOU STUPID POO PEICE DUT WAS ME SHINPAU! (He Crys)

Me: HAHAHAHAHAHA

I will defentely boot anyone who does betray me for a damn weapon it’s ridicilous. I can understand by being splattered by a vehicle or accidentally being stuck by a grenade by your team mate. Usually that’s our fault when we’re in the way when perusing an enemy team. But a weapon on the other hand is different I will boot players who kill me on my team for something stupid whether it’s a weapon or not.
