On the contrary, I played it, loved it, but I will NEVER support baiting-and-switching.
The map pack sucks.
That being said, Im glad I got to try it out before wasting points on it. Really though, its a pathetic excuse for a map pack.
It looks like the same 3 maps, just with different colors and building layouts.
They all 3 take place in a cave-area with stalagmites. All 3 maps look that way, just with a different color pallet.
Not to mention they were all made for BTB. What a joke
Nope. All of the maps are crap. I’m pretty sure they just touched up the same base map 3 times and added some slight color effects. That being said, I got them free, so I could care less.

Same. I can’t believe they called ANY of those medium or small maps.
Have you guys ever heard of opinions? When you say that something is bad, you people seem to write it as fact. Maybe you guys should consider that other people don’t think the same as you.

This irritates me to no end.
The statement is intended to show that you care so little it would be impossible to care less.
If you say “I could care less” it means you care enough about it to be capable of caring less which makes no sense at all.

The bait and switch? They goofed up trying to fix the map pass fiasco and it resulted in all kinds people getting free maps, so instead of stopping it, locking down those maps on the xbox’s that got them for free they let everyone try them out.
It was a bad pr fiasco, and a bad launch fiasco. That doesnt mean they were pulling a bait and switch. I doubt the start of the day went like this.

shatter is the only map i have a problem with, cant find anything i like about it but i love wreckage and harvest. fun all around. everyone complaining about how all the maps are bad make me lawl so much. so thanks for that(:
If it was to be pulled off my account, id call MS because they would be the ones to pull it.
Imo compared to the other map packs in past halo games i expected more. Even the Reach packs which 343i were in control of had more variety than this.

The wiser move would have been to take Crimson OFF the marketplace while they fixed it, and whoever got it free got lucky. Bam.
Instead they let it sit up there free for 12+ HOURS, and are now trying to very poorly cover their -Yoink-.
I’ve already bought the map pass, so what’s done is done. No need for anything to get pulled my end. My HD doesn’t particularly like that sort of thing, it gets angry.

I wonder if whatever MS is planning on doing to the free adopters wouldn’t be overcome by a simple re-download.
Well I got the Limited Edition of the game, therefore have the map pass. However, if I had the standard edition of the game without the map pass, and if I did get this “trial” of the map pack, then yes, I most definitely would buy the map pack once the trial was over.
