> do you play other**…**
By all means, show everyone how pathetic a troll you are. Call a person out by name next time so you don’t come off as a little -Yoink-.
You’ve completely ignored the whole arguement being made, and failed to even read the discussion that’s going on around you (by your own admission), and yet you’ve insisted on trying to call others out on said arguement.
Your poll here, and this entire topic, only shows how little you understand the discussion, and how far you’re willing to go to be a troll. Since this whole topic is one giant attempt at trolling, it will be closed shortly. But before it is, I want a response.
Since you failed to specify in your original post or poll, we’re talking about online multiplayer competitive shooters… IE titles in the same genre as Halo… not any random game with a shooting element. Look at nearly every post you’ve received in response… most of them mention RPGs like Fallout, single-player games like Half-Life and Far Cry and BioShock, 3rd person action games Like Gears of War and Mass Effect… hell, even a puzzle game (Portal) was mentioned.
I also specified that we’re talking about people who greatly prefer the gameplay in Halo online to any other shooter. That means, if given the choice, they play Halo before they consider playing another shooter.
So… let’s recap… I said that compared to other game series Halo is said to compete with, ie online competitive multiplayer shooters like CoD and Battlefield, Halo has a significantly lower incidence of cross-population… meaning that those folks that tend to prefer Halo tend also to not cross-populate into other shooters. I also said that, amongst the most dedicated Halo fans, there’s almost NO cross-population.
Neither your poll, nor your postings even begin to refute that arguement, and you are the ONLY person argueing against it. You’re also the only person stubbornly arguing against Halo being a niche title, even by your own definition. So rather than argue the point and accept you’re on the wrong side of it, you try to pick out bits and pieces of that arguement and mislead other posters into providing information that you think will make you seem on equal footing in the arguement.
And worse maybe… you’ve done it in such a pathetic and condescending way that no matter what info you might be able to glean for this, you can’t possibly be taken seriously anymore in the greater arguement. Maybe quit trying so hard to prove you’re not wrong… and maybe be less of a -Yoink-.
