Halo services were out today, but how many of us returned to a game that simply does not work? When will 343 finally admit something? I wonder if they will admit that the problem is out of their hands, above their pay grade, or if they simply do not know why this problem exists. I have sunk many hours into solving this problem and learned quite a bit about how multiplayer works. 343 is skating on thin ice with one of my favorite franchises of all time.
So give us a count Halo! Who is having trouble? Comment and take the poll! The main thread for this issue has become a forgotten place.
I guess it wouldn’t bother me as much except for knowing some people got banned for “quitting” because of this nonsense, and others like me have lost req packs and boosts because of it. wait, never mind, it still bothers the heck out of me, for a game that has a HEAVY multiplayer base, and has some sort of Halo Championships, that they would fail this bad with multiplayer. one can only perform a hard reset so many times before it gets old having to do it to be able to play one or two matches at a time between resetting the xbox

It kills me. I feel like I’m only getting half the game. Maybe I’m competitive in matchmaking but I’ll never find out because I can’t get a match in…

Exactly, its crap like this makes me want to finish campaign and sell the game, sell my xbox and dig out my old PS3 that collecting dust. $60 is a lot of money for half a game. I may not be very good at matchmaking, when it works, but having fun with friends is no longer an option because, of yeah, hard reset every time I want to play…
Make sure the recommended ports from Microsoft are open on your router. Hard reset the game by quitting and fully powering down the console then try. Do you have any of the ISPs listed above?
