Ok people, just trying to get an idea of what the good folks at Halo Waypoint would like to see more of in H5.
Simply just type Firefight for Firefight or Spartan Ops for Spartan Ops.
Both would be great and hopefully that happens, but I’m just interested to see what the majority vote would be.

EDIT** Alright people…let’s put it this way…there’s a gun to your head and someone says choose one. Firefight or Spartan Ops. Both not being an option otherwise your dead.

Both. DLC is a great thing.
I’m for both. Random comp-stomps are fun, but so are psuedo-story related scripted missions (when they’re not copy/pasted locations).
Really, no one leans one way or the other? I would much rather have Firefight than Spartan Ops if I had to chose one over the other. I can always just go into the campaign and play a mission and get points for it if I want.

Sure there’s always campaign, but I could never turn down MORE story. Never…well…almost never. Eps 1-5 of Ops at times were painfully dull with the same locales over and over and the same reused dialogue over and over.
If I had to choose, Firefight. and hopefully the give it a next gen upgrade. Multiplayer firefight was a pretty good Idea actually, would have worked perfectly on BTB or invasion. Gosh Reach had a lot of good game modes. I hope they bring most of them back.
I didn’t like Spartan Ops in Halo 4. It was really dull. But then again, I wasn’t that fond of Firefight either. I don’t get much out of just killing wave after wave of enemies without some kind of context. Gears 3 did the Horde formula best with upgradable fortifications and such.
Do I have to lean one way I guess firefight, though.
I feel that both should be added. Variety is always good.

It was not basically Firefight with a story. Firefight didn’t require Xbox Live.
They should have a firefight but add story elements to it… So both in a way, maybe three firefight maps that move… Have a small campaign too? Not sure
For me Firefight. I had far more fun with firefight. Because of the scoring and was more rewarding then Spartan Ops. It was much harder on legendary because you only had 10 lives with others.
What I did like in Spartan ops was the story element.
Both, but if I had to choose, a more robust Firefight. Unless they really retooled the story for Spartan Ops and made it with less filler story, then I’d down for a Season 2.
None, I wan’t a Flood Survival mode instead. This way Halo can compete with CoD Zombies. Plus Flood Survival mode sounds fun.
