You missed quite a few, notebly the grenade launcher which, like the frg, can kill on impact without splash. Regardless, since when is it required that arcing weapons in Halo must be splash weapons? Variety is the spice of life. You make it sound like the mangler (and I guess the skewer and ravager) are a huge deviation from the formula. They’re not.
my point is that there has never been a precision headshot weapon in halo with projectile arc.
Sure, now after I challenged you. But your initial claim was “projectile drop … should never be a thing in halo.” To which my response was, “Literally every Halo has some sort of arcing weapon.” Thus refuting the notion that Halo does not have ‘projectile drop’ weapons.
But whatever tho. You’re obviously welcome to your opinion on the matter. You’re allowed to think arcing precision weapons are somehow quintessentially un-Halo. It’s an odd hill to hold, but it’s yours if you want it.
give me a break, yes i should have been more specific but the point still stands next thing we know halo is going to be like battlefield and we’ll have to aim a foot above someone’s head to cross map them with a BR
I enjoy the Quit Game variant
You come to this conclusion because a single gun has an arc to it? Come on, buddy. If the mangler didn’t have a drop off it would be ridiculously broken.
Commandos and stalkers was really fun. Wouldve been nice to be able to pick them instead of being subjected to RNG every game, but 343 doesnt care about player enjoyment of their game ![]()
it already is: 1 shot+melee.
also the CE pistol was ridiculously broken too but 99% of halo players love that gun
I played more games of each mode and manglers ngl is really nice to play. Headshots are satisfying and rewarding in a way and body shots are just as satisfying to nail. Sidekicks aren’t bad too, although sidekicks are a bit fast paced. I still like Stalkers, but I don’t really enjoy commandos that much anymore. After like 20 games I got 1 BR match and found out that I didn’t particularly enjoyed it. Probably because I was still getting used to it.
I can’t stand the mangler matches ![]()
just add map veto to inf
