3 I guess, Reach kind of has itâs own personal flair and itâs really really good, but it doesnât have that âmagicalâ feeling that the other Halos had. But I would want Halo 4 to be like Halo 3 multiplayer-wise, and Halo 2 campaign-wise.
Neither, I want it to be differant. I DO however, want it to play like the old Halo and not at all like Reach.
Halo 3. But sadly, simple competitive FPSâs are a thing of the past. Kids these days want flash and silly gimmicks.
I definitely want it to lean more towards how Halo 3 was.
Uh⌠Make an option for Halo 2 or Halo: CE?
But between Halo 3 and Reach, Halo 3, because Halo: Reach was just downright awful.
Between those two, definently Halo 3

with ranking like Halo 3
This seems to be unanimous, so I hope 343i realizes that no one likes the feel of Reach (started posting before that one guy had to ruin the unanimity of this thread).
Remove reticule bloom, speed the movement up again, increase the jump height, tone down the aim acceleration, bring back the BR, bring back a visible trueskill (1-50), remove the utterly boring and tedious Arena, and you should be pretty good.
I would have to say more like Reach than 3 but that doesnât mean exactly like Reach, it does need some tweeks

Absolutely!
Iâd love if H4 was basically like Reach but with all the annoying stuff gone, i.e. bloom, armor abilities, slow movement speed, and low jump height. Instead those parts should be like in H3, except that weapons ought to stay hit-scan. Because, letâs face it: If there werenât bloom and armor abilities, and if the maps were only a little bit better, Reach would have been the best Halo game so far multiplayer-wise.

Anyway, Iâd say Halo 2 actually. That campaign was something else and itâs why buy the Halo games. The multiplayer is a side dish for me

It shouldnât be like either. Both were extremely flawed. Even if they werenât flawed, I donât want to pay $60 for a game that is identical to H3 or H:R. I certainly think that there are elements from H3/H:R that should be in H4, but H4 needs to be its own game.
Make everything. Itâs not hard to incorporate bloom, AAâs, BR, classic, and more into gametypes.
