- I would like to see the motion track turned off!
- I like the motion tracker turned on!
- I don’t care either way!

I prefer it on as we are Spartans in a high tech suit of armor.
When there is an actual method of not appearing on it by slowing down, I’d say it adds an extra degree of skill to the gameplay.
Motion Tracker blows and has only become more powerful. So much free information - and for what?
Motion tracker makes the game less “luck based”. Plus it is and always has been a core aspect of Halo’s gameplay.
Yeah but it also makes the game more “tent” based if you follow me. I disable radar in ALL of my custom games because it forces me and my friends to learn the maps inside and out as well as each others play styles.
To be honest the super useful lone wolf
25m Motion Sensor is a thing of the past that is good for Campaign but not Multiplayer. Only because most players play with a gaming headset which means they are always listening for footsteps and other sounds in the game. Then the other thing you need to take into consideration is 343 wants players to work as a team with communication by calling out locations and since there’s a Ping System in this game it gives players another opportunity to communicate with players that aren’t in game chat/your party chat or aren’t using a game headset.
Extra🤗
Now as a side note I would much rather have a 60m Attack Radar that fits all styles of gameplay. Because…
I don’t quite see why the tracker would prevent people from learning the maps.
And I feel like people generally have different play-styles depending on if the tracker is on or off.
Really depends on the gametype for me.
personally, i like reading enemy movement on the radar(used to) its too small now. Your idea sounds good too, its better than the halo 5 radar where players are scared to use fast movement. In the infinite flights, everyone was just walking everywhere killing the dumb sprinters showing up on radar. an attackk radar with a very large range might be the best kind of radar.
I don’t mind it off for Halo 1, every other game I prefer it on though
LUCK BASED???
My person, JUST WATCH YOUR SIDES AND REAR it’s NOT HARD!
But you can’t look in all directions at once, which always leaves space for luck
…You’re joking right? You have to be joking. You can watch your back. You can know whether or not someone is behind you. Not only do you HAVE ears (probably?) but even if you don’t, what you can do is check your approaches for hostiles. If you haven’t seen anyone ahead of you for a bit they’re likely behind you.
You need to learn situational and spatial awareness. Radar is NOT a substitute.
You seem way too upset about this. Feels like you’re just trying to discredit what I’m saying, which doesn’t exactly make it fun to reply to you.
I agree that the radar is not a substitute to situational awareness, and that’s why they can co-exist.
I agree that listening is useful too.
But non of this contradicts my point.
Even with situational awareness, and radar, elements of luck will always remain, eventhough you use both to minimise luck. But remove 1 of them and the element of luck grows, whether you’re good at the game or not.
Honestly just admit you rely on radar as a crutch.
Because all the tracker does is encourage camping. I pay more attention to other players as do my friends, when the radars is off, because you HAVE TO.
Motion tracker on for everything besides ranked/hcs/mlg game mode/types. Aside from those ranked games the motion tracker should be on. Give me the opportunity to ninja the lights out of an opponent.
I definitely prefer it on for most modes, defintely some I think it shouldn’t be on though.
Motion Tracker is fine in social oriented gametypes. Ranked? Well, I wouldn’t care if it was turned off. It’s supposed to be somewhat competitive anyways.
