It’s part of the game and you need to learn to get over it, I don’t see someone chasing me around the map trying to kill me when I’ve shot the one shot they were fighting, so why would they do it for an assassination, it’s counterproductive bs.
I’m sick of the immaturity in this community when it comes to things are a party of the game. If it happens get over it and move on it’s not like you won’t get another assassination ever again.

As long as they aren’t in my base killing my dudes we will be okay.
“It’s part of the game” is always the lamest excuse.
Just because it’s technically in the game doesn’t make it acceptable conduct. You don’t steal assassinations unless you did most of the damage and you’re simply “taking back” a kill that the assassin is currently stealing from you.

Assassinations are really rare to pull off in Halo 5 and people like checking out the assassinations they got from REQ packs (especially since they don’t give a preview of the animation). So yeah, you’re being a -Yoink- when you steal assassinations, and it might as well be like never getting an assassination ever again when so many people steal them.
I don’t take players assassinations kills, even if i was shooting that enemy first. Instead, i -Yoink!-, will the enemy gets assassinated.
I will admit I truly try not to steal my teammates assassinations if they are getting one but sometimes accidents happen.
Then maybe they shouldn’t put in commendations specifically for assassinating people.

Ill admit it might be in bad taste but i try to steal people’s assassinations all the time. You know other people are just going to do the same to you. Every time i accidentally assassinate instead of ninja it gets stolen. I don’t get mad when mine get stolen because you should just be ninja them anyway.
I don’t actively try to take them but there are times when it does happen. There are also times I’m glad someone stole my assassination in cases were it’s a 2v1 and I’m trapped in the animation.
The 104 ways to die assassination is the fastest so there is a lesser chance of having them stolen.
I sometimes freak out because I can’t tell who’s assassinating who and end up stealing someone else’s kill.
I agree.
That’s why I turned my animations off. They’re very slow and you waste too much time.
I keep mine on.
If I pull it off cool, if not who cares, move on.

He didn’t die, he had begun assassinating the guy after I had already thrown my nade. He also had an overshield.
I think 343 should just remove assassinations so I don’t get these people who can’t handle it. Problem solved.
I will absolutely hang back and watch a teammate assassinate “my kill” because it’s a glory kill.

You’re the one complaining on the forums. If anyone “can’t handle it,” I’d say it’s you.
What I do instead of taking assassinations is I -Yoink!- near the guy who is getting assassinated. It’s so funny

You’re right I can’t handle getting team killed over something as silly as someone not being able to finish their flashy kill. Hence why I made the thread, how observant of you!

If I’m running with a group and my team is getting an assassination I am also sure to taunt the hell out of the enemy for getting embarrassed, usually I shoot their body as they fall.
