I know it sucks to take the time to do it, especially when it’s almost every game. But they don’t get banned if they are not reported. Quiters are like turds…they stink and are a major nuisance unless you make sure to hit the flush handle. Quiters are the same. So how bout some courtesy flushes for the community? Nothing feels better than seeing that message from 343 saying action was taken, it’s rare, but so satisfying.
If I see people AFK for awhile before quitting or we’re down a player because someone quit or disconnect and they quit reducing the match from 3v4 to 2v4 then I’ll report them. If they are playing and suddenly vanish I let it slide since it was most likely a disconnection.
I’ve never been disconnected in this game, but I also don’t have Walmart internet.

Actually, at one point they were selling roadrunner internet in store. So yeah, they were a place e to get Internet. Specifically however, the comment references “cheap” Internet. I miss how we used to be able to narrow our network search settings to play with those who have good connections only.

Except this games servers are quite flakey and will drop people randomly, there is a massive thread about this on the support forums but not a single reply from 343I, I can usually play without any problems for hours on end, however there are days I have to give up trying to play because of constant disconnections, disconnectiosn that only happen in Halo 5 and not any other game I play on the same day.
So please oh lord of the MASTER internet, explain to me how come Halo can keep kicking me out of matches but if i go to BF4 the same moment I can play flawlessly?
Surely it must be my ISP’s issue right?

No, because Xbl doesn’t allow players to get into good graces so easily. Once player Rep reaches a certain point that player has to wait X many days without being reported to get their Rep up. If Rep is too low it takes 5ever to get into matchmaking. The majority often quit for good reasons. They shouldn’t be banned xbox wide. 343 bans do enough.

I take that into consideration. It clearly states when you look up thier gt if they are in a other game or not. This information is available as you report, so if they are in another game, they didn’t have to go. They quit because they were going 3 and 18. If they are not online, then I dont report. If it wasn’t a concern of the community and Microsoft/343, there wouldn’t be an option that specifically says “quiting early”. It’s like anything elae, if you don’t have enough time, don’t do it. Most people are smart enough for that concept, so usually quiting is because they are doing poorly. Say what you want, if there were more actions, I’d take them too.

Why report a rat fleeing a sinking ship? 3v4 games are typically foregone conclusions anyway.

It’s on your profile. It’s REALLY DIFFICULT to have a bad rep. There’s no penalty for having a bad rep outside of getting less friend requests. There is no option to report so.eine for playing bad, or not being good. The options are quiting early, unsporting behavior, and cheating. There used to be more but they took them out. I only use it for quiters myself. I don’t care about teabagging or trash talk. Especially being nobody talks anyways.
