on the xbox 360, on the halo waypoint app, all my stats have been reset ever since i got the dear diary achievement in halo CEA, more specifically, when i was entering the codes for the terminals on the keyes terminal it said that it couldn’t connect to waypoint servers.this has never happened to me before so can someone give me an answer to whether or not i will be able to regain my stats.on the website for the pc though, everything is fine.thx
It seems that Halo Waypoint will forever have issues when unlocking the achievements. Hopefully this might help you:
Halo Waypoint on 360 crashes.The problem occurred after unlocking the last 2 achievements (Dear Diary and Headhunter) in Halo CE Anniversary on 360.
Before I unlocked those I visited Waypoint and it worked fine.
But before I was able to unlock the achievements I had to delete my account and my savings. After downloading my profile and playing the campaign with a new created second player I unlocked the achievements in the… don’t know, fifth try or so. The strange thing about it was that I gained them after I finished The Library.
This Waypoint here is telling me now that I unlocked those in July 2016 which is wrong, could be true though because my last try was actually in July 2016.
But the thing is I unlocked them recently (Jan 2017). And that’s when the achievements finally popped up.
Anyway, Waypoint on 360 is not working anymore and that’s what I did right before it happened.

for some reason everything is working fine again, after i got the rest of my achievements for halo CEA in local co-op so mabye that might have something to do with it, also that thread URL cannot be found on waypoint.
The Xbox 360 Servers have been having various issues for months now. I would assume that maybe that has something to do with the trouble you’re having? As for the Waypoint App, I think that’s been long since abandoned. I don’t think anyone is still working on that.

Technically, everything is obsolete in time. It served its purpose, it just didn’t have the longevity that everyone had hoped for.

Sadly you’re right, but that’s why we need innovation and improvement.

And that’s fair but we can’t always dwell on the past. Not every single old game still needs to be playable 10+ years later. There come’s a time where that needs to stop. I’m not saying that the Xbox 360 servers need to be shut down but it’ll probably happen in the next year or two.
