Reach firefight is fun but it not as good as odst reaches firefight doesnt get as hard and fun as it did in odst
I agree with this, but you should really elaborate more on the topic, like:
“The FireFight game mode in Reach was only sub-par, when in comparison to ODST’s FireFight. It lacks the intensity of ODST’s, and feels more like a ‘Get as many points as possible’ thing, than it does a tactical survival mode.”
…Or something of that sort.
I completely agree! ODST just had an originality to it. it was fun, challenging and it felt somehow more natural feel. Part of it for me too, was the blandness of the Reach maps.
I AGREE 100%
Don’t care for Arcade mode, cause all anyone does is grab the Fuel Rod gun and blast the crap out of everything. I love the “I can’t believe we just survived that!” feeling that we got when playing ODST. I generally stick to Score attack now so I play alone, I don’t have to compete with the Fuel Rod that way.
I agree. I don’t know if they were trying to exploit the difference between an odst or not, but Reach firefight is just way too easy. In odst, I felt that I actually had to survive and the sense of survival was just their. Of course a lot of that is also because limited amount of lives.
Odst was really fun with friends and a challenge. They don’t need to dumb it down …
Only time I played firefight in Reach is if there were challenges.
ODST’s Firefight was about 85% more enjoyable that Reach’s. I hope Halo 4’s Firefight is like ODST’s.
Yes, ODST had that feel of tactical survival to it that i loved. Reach didn’t
Reach’s firefight isn’t even a survival mode, it is just target practice, a survival mode doesn’t give you infinite rockets on spawn along with infinite lives…
Also the wraiths were actually no joke. I can’t remember if there were ghosts being brought in as well…
